@@KlavierMenn as a fencer (historic AND Olympic (style not level I WISH I was that good)) I am HIGHLY offended by this comment, a katana, and a bastard sword are SO different, a katana has a one-sided blade that you have to have precise control over, where a bastard sword is double-edged, granted I'm not talking from experience here since I fence saber and rapier but saber is SOMEWHAT similar to a katana in that it's single-edged and blade control is important. (Not that blade control isn't important for bastard swords idk)

Casually be able to spit venom like a certain snow for example. Now imagine that but on a giant green dragon that can. There’s some really weird stuff in biology you can become one really strong monster. As long as you aren’t looking for actual magic you can become basically anything you want.

They left out the funniest part of that “make a big tower to reach god” story cause in the Bible people actually did try that and they got very high up before god struck it down and cursed each and everyone there to speak a different language so no one could understand eachother- So anyways the post continues and half way through the continued post he switches languages and it’s legit one of the funniest bible memes I’ve ever encountered Edit: turns out they built the tower to reach got to FIGHT HIM, and curse his name so they could become new gods themselves- so that explains the punishment

2:50 Chayote Squash! It's pretty much like a potato depending on how you use it. My mom uses this squash in a Mexican stew called Albondigas (which means meatballs) which is a meatball and vegetable soup and it's soooo good it's one of my favorite dishes and it's so easy to make. (a lot of ppl make it slightly different tho)

btw, that weird vegetable in the Whole Foods post is Chayote Squash. It's a squash often used in Latin American cuisine as well as for the ketogenic diet, as it is fairly low carb, is fairly bland, so it takes on the flavor of other ingredients well, and it has a texture similar to a potato or apple, raw or cooked. It's often used for mock apple pies.

I know for a bit they had Fred say “creepers!” As a way to really help pair him and Daphne together more(since she says “jeepers” and it would be cute if they both said something similar), but eventually they dropped that phrase of Fred’s so that means, currently, Fred doesn’t have a go to phrase to say when something scary happens

In all the comments i've read, i have never seen a left leaning person accuse someone of racism when it would have been inappropriate to do so. Even if you didn't "stuff" it, you still used it. Now, i'm not claiming these aren't some people who don't think this way, and the hundred or so total people who think and argue this way could be construed as "a lot", but compared to the wider left, they simply aren't.

From my experience talking to people on the internet and IRL, if somebody says that they were undeservedly called racist, homophobic, transphobic etc. - in 99.9% cases they were, in fact, racist, homophobic or transphobic

13:15 made me realize that some DMs apparently want to have a coherent and serious game and actually think that the players might just do what the DM wants them to. I make my campaigns that are specifically loose and able to be violently twisted off course and still be able to get back on track without the DM intervening too much. I absolutely love when players are able to figure out crazy solutions to something that I never prepared for and make it a breeze (like seducing a boss)

first one: it's a fidgeting thing along with one of those meditational "check-in" exercises. You're focusing on something small and somewhat meaningless to distract from what's actually making you anxious, and you also get some closure on the thing you're checking on cause knowledge makes us feel more secure no matter how trivial it is. That's why taking a walk or looking around your room helps. "I never thought to check and see if THIS room/poster/chair/body part of mine was doing ok today, but now that I know it's doing ok, that brings me closure on an issue I didn't know I had." Also fidgeting works for kinda everyone, rocks are good for fidgeting.
