I would like to know other people's strategy for going against something that is doing complete TURTLE mode like what Angrybird did, especially near the end.

No chip damage and defensive mode like the annoying akuma player is doing really ruins the game in a way, it’s like he wasnt even bothered or interested in actually fighting the ryu player, I would have quit well before. What can ryu do apart from try to do the DR overhead which you can see a mile away coming, his endless fireballs won’t matter because of no chip damage…

@@markfowlermusic what ruins the game is when you have a character that takes so much power that didn’t need a buff which was RYU and yes, I have made him before for many years. He is now actually a very unbalanced character. You do not need the damage out put that he is at now. This franchise and many others have went more for the evo route of gaming than an actual fighting, which involves this.

MY strategy: Starting from Street Fighter V, including Street Fighter VI, the player's energy (attention) consumption for defensive stances is higher than for offensive ones in most of cases if not all. Core strategies to counter turtle-style play can be developed from this. At this point, various feinting techniques can disrupt the player's attention. The more diverse the offensive methods a character has, the more challenging it is for players who use turtle-style play. Other than that, the offensive side still has to be patient until the opponent's attention wanes. You must be experienced to sense when your opponent is losing focus then launch a real attack when you feel confident. Additionally, gambling skills (command throw, command dash, aerial maneuver skills, etc.) can play a significant role in adding pressure to the defensive side or increasing the probability of a comeback.
