It is boring and stupid when you see the player relying only on escaping and attacking from afar like an amateur.... This game must be developed and new characters adopted because it has become ridiculous and has not reached a quarter of the level of Tekken, Mortal Kombat, or even King of Fighting.

I find that people playing Dhalsim are not confrontational always losing. They are lazy to close the gap, always relying on those elastic feet and hands. Not sure if Dhalsim has powerful combos to counter attacks.

Dhalsim moves extra slow compared to other characters, to balance out his long limbs. It's been like this since SF2.

I feel that away about almost all new games. Even 4 was kinda clunky. Idk how to explain it. The way they move in 5-6 is just weird and the cut scenes are distracting and unnecessary. All that extra animation and it doesn’t even kill. Plus the color exsplosion thing I don’t like.

@@LIONTAMER3D well that’s pretty lame to me. I loved tekken 3 and tekken tag. 4 is when it turned into a different game. The new one just looks terrible with the clunky juggles while opponent is basically on the ground to the animations an cut scenes. I didn’t know esports and stuff were more important than an actual quality product. Feel they did same thing with gran turismo. Gt2 was amazing an super realistic. Gt3 and beyond the cars were clunky and didn’t react like the did in 2. Idk how to properly describe it.

@johnbutler2780 among other things, a bunch of companies just flat out STOPPED producing new software for new games. Instead of custom building a game from the ground up, they're now relying on third party software (like the Unreal "engine") and merely programming around the edges. This leads to a homogenized & lame feel because 1) the Unreal software was designed for a 3d person shooter, where collision detection has no priority (notice how bad collision detection has been?) and 2) that "clunky" feel you're describing is a direct product of having to render 2 larger-than-intended models (characters), at very close range, and then determining collision rates @ high speed, which that software is uniquely bad at. The Unreal software has many merits, few of which actually apply to fighting games; and everyone is using it =/
