@@Pex18 In 1991 the game was very unbalanced and a good Dhalsim player could almost always keep Zangeif at bay. I had an opponent angrily unplug the game when I beat his Zangeif with Dhalsim.

I probably played him 3x today in Zangief mirror and he never rematches that Also I'm not a Guile main and I know my Guile is shit so I don't care about the experience there? Just one of the chars I was getting Master on

@@abrahamjaimes7643 Uhhhh have you seen him streaming on Twitch? Because his win rate with Zangief against ANY characters are pretty darn high. Yes Zangief is slow, and his moveset are not as good as other characters, but Snake likes him because he dealt Massive damage as grappler. Snake just like grappler characters. He even uses Potemkin in Guilty Gear.

Zangief is at a disadvantage in every single attribute /aspect of the game apart from damage. One of the most honest characters there is. You have to 100% earn everything you can get. Not that you don’t with other characters, but if you get grabbed by Gief then you made a mistake a long the way. FYI: Being zoners, Dhalsim and jp are considered giefs most difficult matchups. Snake Eyez Gief his poetry in action.

So you watched this match and seen how easy it is for dhalsim to get away and just run away and spam fireballs and normals... but yet you have a problem with gief having to have to take damage to get in just so he can get his damage. You are a scrub and trash at the game and i think your silver or gold.

Dhalsim has no other way to fight bro. He's a zoner character. If someone managed to close the gap on him, Dhalsim is toast.

Simply put, you can zone him way too easily. It takes genuine game knowledge and patience to really be effective with zangief. The fact that you can have combos that do the same damage that have little to no punish if you miss or the attack is blocked vs a single throw that if missed, you can watch the entire lord of the rings before you can do anything. It works and is more balanced than you think.

Because both Dhalsim & Gief are slow moving character. Try looking at Chun Li or Cammy gameplay. Even Luke & Ken is pretty damn fast.
