FINALLY I managed to finish this. This project took only about 70 work hours to complete but it was in the making for a whole year and then some.
Still, I'm quite happy with the end result and I hope you enjoyed it as well :)

I decided this time to leave the 15.ai audio as that "echo-y" version that SFM likes to export them in. I tested both ways and to my ears it just sounded better this time around. SUBTITLES have also been made, turn them on if you have hard time making out what exactly the mercs are saying. I don't guarantee that they are 100% correct, because 15.ai-voicelines sometimes can be a bit... "funky" to interpret, to say the least. I cannot thank you enough for this video. The style of animation, the inclusion of movements for each character when their voice is used. The fluidity and downright cartoonish proportions at times capture the true essence of this skit perfectly, no dare I say, better than I ever could have. I am humbled to be the inspiration behind such a masterful and wonderful piece of art. The inclusion of the visual gags and added sound effects added so much which I couldn’t have with just some jpegs and sound clips. I expect great things for you to come, all extravagant compliments aside you are a talented artist.

I wouldn't say a "master" by a long shot, I merely have a habit of making up for my lack of raw animating skills with a bit of exaggeration and comedic timing, so that can sometimes work wonders. But thank you for the support nonetheless, it makes me glad to see you enjoyed it that much :)

Damn it, another "haha Scout is stupid and horny because FUNNY, LAUGH" video. I thought we were well-past this toxic era of blinding hatred towards one of the LAST tf2 characters to deserve this propaganda (and frankly I'm sick of it ALL regardless of which character is picked, but mostly Scout because this community just LOVES to hate him THE MOST for no reason), but I guess some creators just can't come up with anything beyond "hate this character because he slightly annoys me", even though he's one of the more stable & redeemable characters as opposed to Soldier (Guerrilla-warfare extremist who's high up their arse about being a "true American") or Spy (bastard father who left his son aka SCOUT to rot in Boston along with his older brothers & mother in a very likely state of poverty, otherwise why would Scout volunteer for mercenary work instead of having a regular job?), but as long as "people" like Doctor Lalve continue to milk the corpse of this long-gone-and-dead cow, it'll never be able to rest in peace. (P.S. I know you aren't the original creator of this videos' audio and this rant is more meant for them, but using it is still participating in the milking of said mutilated rotting cow)

Yeah, I started to work on this project when these "X does Y" (usually something stupid and/or perverted) type of skits were, well not exactly "fresh", but had certainly not died out yet. Then due to my lack of time I had to invest to this hobby the little hayday it had was kinda on its last legs as this project neared it's end, so unfortunately I just kinda "missed the train" on that... Glad you got to vent though. I don't really mind since it wasn't targeted at me specifically. I know these skits had at some point become maybe a bit pervasive and were kinda just repeating the same jokes over and over. I just heard this at the time, thought "I could animate this" and got to work. That's how most of my animations are done; I listen to something (a skit, a song or smth else), I get some ideas what could be animated 'on top of it', start a project if I get enough ideas, and hopefully finish the damn thing before I'm 80. After all, I make these out of the sheer fun of it and post them because maybe some people on the internet get a laugh or two out of them. If someone doesn't like my content, that's OK as well :)

Writers note- KZfaq decided to delete a long winded response that provides insight into why I made scout the protagonist for this audio so I’ll make a brief rebuttal to my previous argument. I originally intended for the script to work for demoman ending up in the situation in a drunken stupor but the voices available didn’t give me the tone I was looking for. So based on the Valve trailer where scout is desperate to go on a date with Mrs Pauling I thought that his loneliness and willingness to do anything for love would make this scenario make at least a little sense. I take full accountability for only fuelling the fire that is the hatred for this character. (Personally I love scout in the comics and the trailers as a character even though I can’t play him well at all)

Yeah, I find Scout to be interesting because aside from sometimes being a jerk, he is one of the funniest characters out of the team. There's alot of potential in using him in the most ridiculous and lighthearted situations. While I didn't always agree with how the comics went, the writers really got the feel of Scout's character. In fanfic, he's easier to write for me and yes, I prefer him over war-obsessed Soldier (I sometimes don't blame Merasmus for his wrath on the military nutcase, but he should leave the other mercenaries alone.).

The comics explain the mercs relationships to scout, and I don’t want to spoil that so I’ll say; I blame the poor writing on my part (just imagine he was cloaked in the room and saw him put the toaster there and was too ashamed to tell anyone)
