SFU Pipe Band 2009 World Pipe Band Championships - Glasgow Scotland.
The Simon Fraser University Pipe Band won its sixth world pipe band title-and its second straight.
The SFU band also won the March, Strathspey and Reel (MSR) title. And the SFU bands drum corps-also for the second straight year-won the world crown as best over-all drum corps, and placed first, as well, in the MSR section of drumming competition.
Alan Bevan went on to win the Masters Invitational solo crown. Only eight pipers from around the world are invited to compete.

they well deserved it.. takes a long time to practice for the 4-5 minutes of playing in competition..an some people dont realise it..its hard work to have every note together an the suit in right condition to win the comp..fair play to them 1 of my fav bands.. sfu FTW

@c00per69 Serge? SFU wears the ancient Fraser tartan. The RCMP tartan's background is dark blue.

In the warm-up circle shaving holes in pipe chanters at :34. Wow! Anyone else doing that, you'd think they were crazy. They probably just replaced that chanter two minutes ago because it didn't match.
