CANiK is proud to announce the next step in superior firearms with the creation of the SFx RIVAL-S. This steel framed pistol is the evolution of the multi-award winning SFx RIVAL in that the ergonomics of the platform are the same but now the firearm is an all metal design. The 2.61 lb./1185g SFx Rival-S, is 8.09”/205.5mm long, with a 5”/127mm barrel length, is 1.41”/36mm wide, and has a height of 5.75”/145mm. The SFx RIVAL-S is chambered in 9x19mm, and with the additional weight and aluminum 90° break flat trigger, is sure to decrease recoil and improve split times and accuracy! Simply put, the SFx RIVAL-S is
“FORGED FOR SUPERIORITY!!”

There is one concerning thing about CANIK releases lately which is the inconsistent naming schemes. In the past the _-S_ such as in the TP9 SF Elite-S (and the Elite-S Combat and the TP9 SF Mete-S in Turkiye) denoted a manual trigger Safety. Likewise, in the past the TP9 _SFT_ was a Threaded barrel variant of the TP9 SF but then the new METE SFT came out and it was not a threaded barrel model. Now there's a Rival-S but the _-S_ means Steel instead of Safety. This is getting very confusing for collectors and newer buyers. Please keep consistent naming conventions. You could have called this the Rival Steel and Rival Steel Darkside instead. Marketing was Canik's strong point, and while the promotional videos have gotten better, the model names have become a jumbled mess.

Çelik harbiden harika gözüküyor. Bayildim duruşuna. Iste bi silah boyle olmali ve boyle gözükmeli. Hiç elime almadim ama canik kalitesinden eminim. Canik ile ilgili tek sorunum silahlarinin görsel olarak kötü olmasiydi, bana hitap etmiyordu. Kaliteli fakat çirkindi bana göre. Bence bu modelle görsel işini bitirmişler. Işte bu canik ve hicbi silaha benzemiyor tamamen orijinal bi tasarim canik oldugu belli oluyor. Tebrikkkk ediyorummm emegi gecen herkesin eline koluna sağlikkkkk. Gorsel olarak riske giremeyen firmalar hep glock benzeri tipte silahlar çıkarıyor. Canik farkini koymus. tamamen kendine ozgu bi tasarim. Harika duruyor. Aktör de harika oynamis.

Very interesting... I just took out my canik mete sfx pro and my sar 2000 for comparison against each other, and found that the sar gave better recoil management, and is easier to point shoot than the canik, though the canik had better all around accuracy. I would very much be interested to see how the steel frame canik would compare between the two.

@@Magneticitist i don’t think it was the barrel. I think it was more of the trigger. Not saying the sar trigger was bad by any means, but the canik trigger (once you get used to it) is just very easy

@@barksandbullets Oh so like maybe the ergonomics and recoil was better making it easier to aim on the Sar, but the Canik trigger let you maintain good aim through the trigger pull which caused more accuracy. Makes sense. That's how Caniks are for me even if the ergonomics don't feel as good as other guns.
