Nope that's not how that works you don't get passed when you lose because of your age. Because all they do is brag about how freaking great he is and how he the goat and then when he loses they use age as a freaking excuse. Naw if he can't push through and win then he is not close to being the greatest of all time. And you need to retire if all you do is complain and blame everyone else for your shortcomings It is always everyone else's fault why the lose never brons
@life0093
@life0093 22 күн бұрын
If it’s everyone else’s fault then why are you crying about LeBron? That’s the blame he gets. And also he’s 39 competing well against younger guys. It doesn’t matter if he lost, he’s still an effective player at 39, and he’s still playing in a young man’s league. When Vince Carter dunked in his later years, people got hyped. People were praising Grant Hill for being an effective player in his older age. That’s what you do when an older player is playing well. You praise them for subverting expectations.

James Jones is only one making sense. Lebron play decent by his turnovers hurt and his inability to close games. His lack of defense as well. If Lakers would’ve of won LeBron would have unquestionably be the GOAT but since he lose media make up excuses for him. LeBron needs to retire stop the league can turn the page of these era and move on to new star players. James has become bad for business.

I can’t believe that it’s actually happening. Did you hear what the #1 LeBron-Worshipper in the world, Kendrick Perkins, said on ESPN: First Take on May 6, 2024? The basketball world is starting to remove LeBron James from the GOAT debate. Many us removed LeBron James from the GOAT CONVERSATION several years ago, and a lot of us never had LeBron James in the GOAT DEBATE to begin with. But the 2-5% of the basketball world (players, personnel, media, fans) who thought that LeBron James was “the goat” or could be “the goat”….this 2-5%, who is primarily led by Kendrick Perkins and others, this 2-5% are now removing LeBron James from The GOAT debate. It's pretty obvious that Byron Scott is still Salty about Lebron leaving Cleveland in 2010 when Byron took over as Head Coach in Cleveland . Byron probably thought he was going to get LeBron James in the Cavs 2010 / 2011 Season , or Byron probably wouldn't have taken the Cleveland Job . Lebron left for Miami as a Result of that Cavs Head Coaching Hiring . Byron was too Old School Basketball for Lebron , Even tho Lebron chose Byron's Old School 1980s Lakers Head Coach Pat Riley in Miami to play for . Byron struggled from 2009 - 2013 trying to win with a Reckless Kyrie Irving and what Scarecrow / Pumpkin Cavs Players Byron had Left to work with . LeGOAT has been an NBA Player / Coach / GM / Player / Recruiter / Player Developer for 21 Seasons . Of course he could be a Successful Official Player / Coach for the Lakers or any NBA Team .

People who watched every single laker game know he’s not a good coach. The rotations, the intangibles, incompetence with the playbook, Lebron yelling to challenge the call and still didn’t call it , saving two timeouts to end the game, putting his pocket the whole game

Not if he has any ounce of sense about him - if he takes on a player coaching role then there is absolutely no hiding place from him being held accountable when the Lakers fail.

Obviously, again they misunderstood what Byron Scott was saying.. He needs Lebron to take acountability whenever Lakers are losing, not saying It's just Basketball..C'mon man. Its not just stats can win championship but the players being coachable and execute the game plan.

What people are not talking about regarding Darvin Ham is that he lost the lockerroom. When your best players stop listening to your voice... ( IMO after the 1ST round sweep last season ) the stars tuned him out. Lakers cleared house because the team needs a " new voice" , Lakers should have kept Phil Handy ( letting him go is a BIG mistake IMO ).

I don't understand how everyone discounts the Bubble Championship. During the playoffs all the players and coaches were saying how it was the hardest playoffs they ever had due to the psychological affect being isolated on that complex from the family, friends and society. Also, the Lakers had the #1 seed and so their home court advantage was totally null and void

It’s not that they think that cause as laker fans we know Darv did head scratching things often. But it’s what we all saw with our eyes was moments where the players didn’t execute. Rather Denver be bullshitten or not we was in position to win most of those games.
