Very nice order! I really like the vintage you had there and I agree they just look better in the SGC Holder. I just sent off a small order of about 10 a couple days ago and will send another one this week with some vintage rookies after I look them over really well under a magnifying glass.

I was looking at recent sales of SGC vs PSA 1972 Julius Erving rookie. Looks like SGC's sales are higher, which I'm kind of glad to see because it looks better in that black slab plus like you said its probably a nicer card because they grade a little harder.

Great video and the best reveal site on KZfaq. Your experience in grading shows as you have very few surprises. I just sent my first batch to SGC as I am waiting on over 500 cards at PSA. Your vintage cards were awesome and I hope my Rice comes even close to a 8.5

When did u start getting heavy into slabs? I ran a shop in 1998-2002 and u seem to collect alot of the stuff i did back in those early days of grading cards. I recently got back into cards after pricing the stuff i kept from m6 collecting days. Just curious how and when u got into cards. Thanks for the great content.

was super happy with my two SGC orders with a mix of modern and vintage and all sports. they were roughest on my Dorsett and LT rookies.

Finally, some vintage....SGC is tough on vintage, always has been. SGC set the standard for vintage pre 1916. Very enjoyable video.

I prefer SGC from 1888 thru 1915........then, SGC/PSA from 1916 thru 41. From 47 thru 72 It's PSA but, SGC is making headway here. From 73 on it's PSA. Modern stuff just doesn't look right in an SGC holder.

Nice 69 Mantles. Very tough card to find centered. Diamond cuts are also an issue.

Solid return man. I don't think sgc is viable at current price point I'm hoping they comeback around 15 to 20 where they should be based on secondary market m. They do grade more consistent then psa I will say that.

I absolutely love when you mention what you paid for the raw cards. I always wonder what you pick some of these up for raw. I know you don't remember all of them, but it's a nice value add to the video. It seems you and SGC are pretty much on the same page when it comes to the grades, it's just too bad they don't consistently sell for a little more. My only complaint with SGC is that some of their 10's don't look like 10's to me. The same can be said for PSA from time to time, but more so with SGC.

Are you getting as soured on PSA as the rest of the world? Cards that absolutely should be tens have been turning out 9s en MASS! Sick what PSA is doing and we all know they are pop controlling the influx of cards. Im guessing its to maintain the eliteness and price point for PSA 10s. I think they absolutely are killing their own business because of it. SGC is killing it now with all the new hype around their business. Im a big fan and cant wait to see the SGC prices rise.

Great video. I don’t like the big grades overall....the auto or the actual grade. I think the big grades take away from the card. They are definitely the most consistent grader though.
