Indonesia High Speed Rail Whoosh (Jakarta Halim - Bandung Tegalluar)
The Hedgehog experienced a trip on Indonesia's high-speed train.
The train, named KCIC Whoosh, runs at 350 km/h, the fastest in the world.
On the journey from Jakarta (Halim station) to Bandung (Tegalluar station), they took the Premium Economy Class cabin.
The train was very comfortable and the staff were friendly.
They also tested the coins to see if they would stand up at 332 km/h.
It was a very interesting test to see how stable the coins would be at higher speeds than Japan's Shinkansen bullet trains.

KCIC Whooshと名付けられたこの列車は、世界最速の時速350キロで走行します。
ジャカルタ（ハリム駅）からバンドン（テガルアル駅）までの旅では、普通車にあたるプレミアム・エコノミークラスに乗車しました。
列車はとても快適で、スタッフの方々も親切でした。
また、時速332kmで走行中に、コインが倒れずに立つかの実験をしてみました。
日本の新幹線よりも速いスピード走る車内で、コインがどれだけ安定するか、とても興味深かったです。

Indeed, the Padalaran route would be more convenient for most passengers. On the other hand, I continued my journey to the terminal because I wanted to take the full high-speed train ride, and because my staying hotel was in the Trans Studio, located on the east side of Bandung.

コメントありがとうございます。インドネシアの高速鉄道は、導入プロセスの経緯から、日本での一般的な評判はちょっと微妙かもしれませんが、実際の乗車体験そのものはとても良い印象でした。（ただし、駅は確かに遠い…www）

Having a 330+ kmh train is very cool, though since it only went around 150 km it was somehow redundant. I hope they continue its route to Surabaya or even to our other main islands. Many debates and circumstances that tore my sanity as a citizen would likely occurs, but when that happened I finally able to ride anywhere on it, with that pricing. My wish. And hopefully somehow on videos of your visits now the sky will be clear. It wasn't always this bad.

Since the main purpose of this trip was to visit the High Speed Train, I visited only the Trans Studio area in Bandung. By the way, this is my second visit to Bandung. It is a comfortable city with cool weather.

Hopefully Bandung, Batam, Denpasar and Medan gets their LRT, and Surabaya gets their MRT

I agree. Many cities in Indonesia have seen traffic chaotic due to the rise of cars and motorcycles.
