Philippines Airlines is the last flag carrier out of South East Asia's major 6 flag carriers that is still independent, prehaps they should join Oneworld since SkyTeam and Star Alliance has two SE Asia flag carriers already, SkyTeam with GA and VN and Star Alliance with TH and SQ, Oneworld is the only remaining that still has only one

Maybe one thing MAHB can do to try and make KUL the next hub in SouthEast Asia is to try and get the airlines operating flights to other cities in Malaysia but not Kuala Lumpur to fly to Kuala Lumpur, it can increase the air traffic in KLIA, currently Air Busan operates 4 weekly Busan-Kota Kinabalu flights, Jin Air, Jeju Air, T'Way Air and Asiana Airlines (seasonal charter) operates daily Seoul Incheon - Kota Kinabalu flights, Flydubai operates Dubai-Penang- Langkawi flights, Juneyao Air, Lion Air and Thai Lion Air flies to Penang from Shanghai Pudong, Medan and Bangkok Don Mueang respectively If MAHB tries to get those airlines to fly to Kuala Lumpur, then it can play a part in boosting KLIA into the next hub in SE Asia

I wonder why some low cost airlines like Citilink or VietJet Air are already using Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 2 at KLIA before the rebranding happened and the policy for T1 for full service airlines and T2 for Low Cost airlines were removed

China Eastern Airlines is adding Yantai - Kuala Lumpur flights from 28 July 2024, even though I don't know if they will actually be half filled planes on the route 😂 But honestly why they haven't add flights from other bigger cities like Harbin, Dalian and Tianjin but Yantai 😂

Actually there’s 2 Shanghai Airlines’ 737s. We can see both FM805 from PVG and FM817 from SHA in this video.

Of course, Air Macau would be more comfortable, but the Hedgehog seems to have decided to go with Air Asia, which has cheaper tickets.

@@daimuyamawaki6582さん、 コメントありがとうございます。 10月の乗り継ぎ行程の時刻表をざっと調べてみたのですが、東京（羽田？）ー上海浦東ーロンドンの旅程だと、私が見た日程では1時間35分より長い乗り継ぎ時間が取れそうに見えました。 曜日や日付により検索結果が違うのかもしれませんが、予約時とフライト時とで、時刻が変更されることもありますので、念のため、現時点での最新の乗り継ぎ時間を調べてみるとよいかもしれません。 なお、ビデオでは経路が複雑そうに見えるかもしれませんが、乗り継ぎ用の電車は頻繁に走っていますし、乗車時間も３分くらいなので、純粋に移動時間だけを考えると、仮に1時間35分だったとしても大丈夫そうな印象です。電車利用がなければもっと速いです。 問題は、「前の便が遅れた」というケースですが、見たところ中国東方航空の東京線（羽田・成田とも）が遅れた割合はかなり低いようです。 また「乗り継ぎ客用のセキュリティチェックが混んでいた」という場合に時間がかかりがちですが、そのへんは、「次便の時間がないことを積極アピール」すれば優先的に通してくれるはずです。 乗り継ぎがうまくいき、良いご旅行になることをお祈りします。

This topic may be unrelated but i have been to genting highlands before. I visited the awana resort hotel and there is elevator with a tree picture in the elevator. Have you seen it before? The elevator is cool! Is old traditional.

Asiana is quite risky to challenge Kuala Lumpur market, where Star Alliance is less powerful here, and also having LCC competitors.

I wish SilkAir, Cathay Dragon and Thai Smile are still operational, it was pretty unfortunate, SilkAir merged into Singapore Airlines and Scoot in May 2021, Cathay Dragon went bankrupt after the pandemic in August 2020, and Thai Smile was intergrated into Thai Airways International in the last day of 2023 Now MYAirline is also defunct....

Hopefully Vietnam Airlines can increase their flight frequency of their Kuala Lumpur-Ho Chi Minh City route from 4 Weekly to 1 daily and their Kuala Lumpur-Hanoi route from 3 weekly to 1 daily, aswell as reopen Da Nang-Kuala Lumpur flights

As far as I have experienced, I have never been on a flight with high occupancy on VN's Kuala Lumpur route. Occasionally I have been able to use three seats. As a passenger, this is comfortable, but on the airline side, it must be a challenge.

I don't know them very well, but their expert cheering calls made me feel that they are fans who have at least visited the JKT Theater in Jakarta many times. Starlux Airlines has plans to join oneworld, it would be pretty interesting considering that EVA Air is already in Star Alliance and China Airlines is in SkyTeam, Starlux Airlines is the only one out of those Big 3 thats still independent, this would make Taiwan a very competitive market in the Aviation industry, Starlux would be the 4th airline to join oneworld in this decade if they did join, and no airlines joined before them, after Alaska Airlines (March 2021), Oman Air (June 2024), Fiji Airways (2025) Thing is what's gonna happen to MAS's Codeshare with China Airlines now if that happens 😅

I honestly wonder why Royal Jordanian have to stop flying to Kuala Lumpur, Both Jordan and Malaysia are muslim countries with strong ties, and the addiction of Bangkok just made the plane even more filled, its pretty unfortunate 😢 Atleast Iraqi Airways resumed direct Baghdad-Kuala Lumpur flights, but just one daily only *hedgehog faint*

It may be a hard challenge to fill the large number of seats the A330 has on that route, but I would love to fly it someday.
