I don't know the person who made that futon, but I would die for one made by them! They make it look so perfect, and yet make the working process look so easy! But, I'm sure that it may take years to perfect it. I think that the video real time must have taken over an hour at the least, due to how many times the video skipped.

Talk about a zero waste bed 😄 I’m planning on getting one soon. My “Japanese futon” from amazon hasn’t been the most comfortable thing to sleep on lately. I’ve heard so many great things about handmade Japanese futons, who could pass one up? I’m sure my back will thank me.

We're all lazy. We want instant gratification and we can no longer deal with waiting or hard physical labor as a whole. Ya know how people complain that there are no jobs. Well. That isnt true, we just dont want to get out in the sun and work in fields or under houses. My dad has been working at the same ac company for 20 years. He said people come and go because they dont expect the work to be so hard.

L. George you clearly have never been to japan to say that if you’re in tokyo you don’t need to fit in bc everyone minds their own business here, and foreigners always tend to go either to tokyo or kyoto, sometimes osaka. Tokyo is diverse af so people dont gaf esp towards foreigners bc they know we have different views or we sort of value individuality more in our society... japanese people are friendly and nice they r just culturally more uptight and dont talk to strangers but i dont see a lot of japanese people openly being racist or pushing down an agenda on us like they are literally the friendliest once you crack up their shells. There’s no such thing as people pushing away foreigners bc they r not japanese anymore unless they suck

I'm Sarcastic I found a source online a year or so back and they were reasonable (and super lovely) but the cost of shipping from Japan was astronomical. Did you find a maker in the States?
