This video was filmed in the morning of October 2023 at the Higashiyama Zoo & Botanical Gardens, Nagoya, Japan. Shabani beats his chest. He bites a rope and shakes his head, tapping his shoulders. He glares at visitors. Kiyomasa drums back. The sound of their drumming echoes in the enclosure. Annie comes to the tower and beats her cute chest. Annie and Kiyomasa start playing on the ground. They move to the tower and continue to play. They beat their chests. Annie wonders what Kiyo is doing. Kiyomasa is eating weeds. Annie finds a tomato. Kiyo comes to watch her. Annie defecates and resumes playing with Kiyo. As soon as Kiyomasa lies down, he touches his private part. Annie comes back and plays with Kiyo. Annie looks really happy. Both do. アニーが人工哺育から群に帰った時、キヨマサの存在にどれ程助けられたことでしょう。ずっと仲良しの２人を見ていると幸せな気持ちになります。でも動物園の重要な役割である種の保存を考えた時、またゴリラ個人の一生を思うと、２人が別々の群を築いていく用意を進めるのが良いと思います。他の動物園同士の話し合いがゴリラの立場に立って行われるといいのになあ。美しい映像をありがとうございます🍀

アニーにとって心細かった群れへの復帰に、キヨマサの存在はとても大きかったでしょうね。それだけにアニーとキヨマサの絆は固いですね。二人がハッピーに遊んでいる姿は、美しいです。東山はキヨマサのためにバチェラーを作るのでしょうか・・・🤔作っていくことがゴリラの群れ飼育にとってMUSTという流れにならないといけないですね。しかしバチェラーといっても、下に弟がいないので、ひとりぼっちになる可能性がありそうで、日本のゴリラたちはなかなか将来が見えてこないですね。キヨマサが群れから独立する場合、今のアニーは精神的にダメージを受けそうなので、欧米で実施されている徐々にだんかいをふんで慣らしていく手法をとってほしいですね。ドリーホワイトさん、ご視聴・コメントありがとうございました🦍🌸

シャバーニ君ファミリーは本当にアクティブですね！😆 みんなロープを加えてブンブン頭を振ったり、何度もドラミングをしたり。モモタロウ君は物静かでドラミングは滅多にしませんし、ゲンタロウ君でもアニーちゃんほどしないんじゃないでしょうか？キンタロウちゃんが一人、腹太鼓で頑張っていますが良い音が出るまでもう少し時間がかかりそうです。(笑)😅 それぞれの群れに個性があって楽しいですね♪ 出来ることならキヨマサ君とゲンタロウ君がバチェラーグループを作ってくれたら夢の共演になるのですが…。😍🙏

ハオコたちもシャバーニ家ほどドラミングをしないので、この群れ独特ですね。そして放飼場の作りもあいまってきれいに響いていることも、ゴリラたちが気分よくなっているのかもしれないですね。もっと叩きたくなっちゃうのかな？キヨマサは自分のドラミングの音に酔いしれてる感あります😁👍キンちゃんがこのままドラミングのやる気を失わなければ、キヨマサに続くドラミングの名士になること間違いなし👍ほんとにゴリラの群れは、人間の家族同様、それぞれ違って面白いですね。バチェラーグループの構成は、各動物園でゴリラを飼育する際、義務化してほしいですね。たぶん幼少期から一緒に過ごしていた兄弟、あるいは血縁がなくとも体ができあがる前の小柄な年齢（6歳くらい）からバチェラーに入る訓練みたいなのを始めていないと、シルバーバックたちに受け入れてもらえなくなるので、体がもうできあがりつつあるキヨマサとゲンタロウは、たぶん一緒に暮らすのは難しい気がします。ゲンタロウはキンタロウがいるからよかった。単独飼育は免れそうです。キヨマサに関しては東山動物園は良案をもちあわせていなさそうなので、単独飼育になるような予感がするのですが、どうなんでしょう🤔その場合は、千葉の個体のように完全にひとりぼっちにしないであげてほしいと思います。小動物との同居などを試みてあげてほしいです。rocket pochiさん、いつも心のこもったコメントをいただきありがとうございます。良い一日をお過ごしください🦍🌸✨

訂正します。バチェラーに6歳は早すぎるかも😅確かモモタロウが7歳でかなりのガタイに成長していたのでその基準で考えましたが個体差があるかもですね。サンディエゴ動物園のデニーが8歳でバチェラーに完全に合流したので、7、8歳くらいがベストなのかもしれないですね。

@@karintogorillas 様興味深いお話をありがとうございます！バチェラーグループは若いオスだけではなく、シルバーバックもいるのですね。これは確かに訓練が必要ですね。両親に愛され、個性的で優しい姉と、同年代で友達のように付き合える妹がいるキヨマサ君は今の広い放飼場と相まって、日本で一番幸せなゴリラかもしれないなあと考えていました。でもお嫁さんの事を考えるとゲンタロウ君より茨の道のようで切ないです。バチェラーはぜひ義務化して欲しいですね。

Ola, Mirian. This is a very interesting question. Thank you! I also wonder why. I’m wondering if Shabani is releasing some kind of stress or energy, or if it could be part of cultural things among the troop. This behavior seems to be customary in his troop. His brother, Haoko, does not exhibit this behavior in his troop.
