We were unexpectedly invited out for a birthday party on a Thursday night when I do the bulk of my Shabbat Meal Prep for Shabbat dinner and Shabbat Lunch. I needed to get everything done quickly because I was short on time. Come along as I prep, let's do it together, and get it all done. I’ll be making easy meals that will come together quickly.

Sirkanis- rice with chickpea
2 cups rice
1 can chickpeas
1 Cup of diced beef
1 onion diced
1-2 carrots diced
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp salt
1 tbspn chicken consome
Cumin and coriander
Cook covered at 400F for hour and a half mixing 1x after 45 minutes.
In a saucepan sauté 7 crushed garlic with 1/4 cup oil. Pour over rice and mix.
Osvo-lamb and rice overnight stew:
Grate:
1 apple, 1 onion, and 1 tomato a squeeze of 1/2 a lemon
Add 1/4 cup of oil to pot and above ingredients. Add 2 cups rice, 1 can tomato sauce, lamb bones and 4 cups of water. Season with 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp chicken consome. Cook for 12 hours on low flame.
🍲 Soup
Into a 5Qt pot filled with water add meat of choice
Potatoes
Carrots
Onion
Season with S/P chicken consommé, Bay leaves and garlic powder. Cook for 1 hour.
🥞 Pancakes
2 cups whole milk
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1tbsp oil
1 cup whole milk yogurt
1-1/2 - 2 Cups self rising flour
Sugar to taste
