Love your vids, your banter monologs crack me up, with slang only an Albertan would grasp the majority of. Four older brothers worked for decades in Alberta and two settled up in Lone Pine (Goose Lake) with backhoe / general construction business (Bremner Backhoe) so lots of familiar territory, favourite roads (the Yellowhead!) and some of the same headaches. I did my time in the south (Okotoks to Red Deer). Keep 'em coming.

You're supposed to pick up the house almost all the way to the deck before stretching.. By the way I started watching your channel months ago Because i became a winch truck driver Learn a lot from you We mainly haul houses 12 and 14 wide You're a great operator

That’s just harder on the sling since there’s no roll. Just up off the deck is sufficient for less drag on the deck. I don’t really see the need to have it way up to the top. When you winch over the hard roll it starts to curl your sling after a few times doing this. Plus some scissors necks are at a 45 angle so you can’t

My 2014 Jeep Wrangler is the same for oil filter housing leaking, and the thermostat housing causing issues. "Thermostat Rationality. Error code P1028. lol. Pricey fix.

Yeah same engine I de believe. I’ve done the oil cooler was just shy of $800 cad. My friends shop did it. I’m still to do the thermostat here next once it warms up

I am semi retired and living in a very sandy soil (sand no soil) and kinda miss working in the mudd and real dirt with green grass and foliage. Awsome job!

I would miss mud if I didn’t have any. Weird cause most guys hate it. I think I enjoy anything with a challenge so it’s not normalized

Buy some vinyl of your choice. Heat gun and a razor blade. Start on one side and work across. It’s a bit of work but results are worth it. Use the heat gun to soften it and pull it around inner corners. Trim off excess on the back side. Possibly use some type of glue to keep it on the back. Will have minor shrinkage when running the heater in cold months. I’d say buy extra and try it on something else to se how it works.

Damn oilfield truckers always bitchin about having to play in the mud. Blackhills trucking out of Watford city North Dakota back in 1983 hauling crudeoil and moving rigs.

Again, I am trippin' on how you blended the music into your video. One tune in particular struck a chord with me and I can't figure out who it is. It starts at about 9:50 and I like that girls singing style. Anyway, if you could shoot me a link, or just let me know the artist and name of the song, it would solve the mystery. I am hooked on your vids, as I drove trucks for 34 yrs. and did a lot of different gigs , but nothing in the oil field line. Never had the chance to run a C-500 either, just about everything else though. Keep em coming, I enjoy the efforts.

100% should be minimum 7 coveralls, like hell on the days where you go through 3 pairs! Hey, do you down shift on the fly with your auxiliary? I know lots of guys who do, they say you do it just like a split(let off, shift, roll back into it) but I’ve never had the balls to do it, will upshift all the time with it

no i havnt been hearing it too, but same as you, i will but ive always been told no...... so i guess ill have to try and defeats the purpose of me getting a 4 spd manual in my next truck. but still going to push for it just to have 2 sticks again

@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT an old manual A-box would be legit! The first bed I drove, 89kw 300” with a 70t Tulsa, 13 speed main, 4 speed auxiliary, and 2 speed rear ends! That thing would do 120mph forwards, 60mph in reverse! Was an old Bar-de truck

Sometimes we get some crazy rain in Alberta, can be dry and rain to make everything stuck. Turn a easy job into we need a bed or cat
