I’ve worn wigs for about 4 years and started with the lighter colors (dirty blondes, 10’s..) but I need darker shades to match my bio hair but I do not want any red highlights.

Thank you so much for this! I ordered a wig in the 10/22SS shade and was surprised that it really didn't look good on me, since it's supposed to be "cool" with the "iced" name. You've verified for me though, that I might have better luck with the 12/22SS. It's very helpful to be able to see them side-by-side, the way you're showing them. Great video-I’m a natural dark brown that always pulls a red tone in the sun or bright light but a few years ago I started getting some honey blond or lighter highlights here and there so not so drab-I’m 54 now lol! I’ve decided to go back to my usual solid brown color a few weeks ago and my stylist (same one for 20+years) showed me a more cooler med brown and I loved so we tried doing that all over and it turned out beautiful bc the brown rooting and mostly brown under, turned a beautiful cool to med brown and the lighter highlights I had turned into a beautiful honey or Carmel so now I love it. Not a drab brown as before with the gray in root so noticeable- (my nanny used to call it dirty dish water brown lol). I still have my hair but it’s fine and menopause/hormones are not helping it any-my stylist said it’s fine but just a lot of fine hair). I’m interested in trying wigs bc of the easiness of them, no styling hair for 20-45 mins when you’re hot flashing and not feeling it lol! I’ve been looking at videos and searching for a couple of years now and these colors in your video would be my go to bc a lot of the solid browns are too dark. I have blue eyes and light to med skin tone so this works better for me-I also keep my hair a little below shoulders and like beachy waves bc my hair is stick straight! Sorry for the book but this was a great video and if you have any pointers on wigs or styles/colors please let me know.

I love these shades. I think that they have beautiful highlights and are very natural looking. My favorite is the Shaded Iced Cappuccino.

Great review. I also have a neutral skin tone and people have told me that certain blonde shades (especially ash) tends to wash me out. So I'm looking for a softer brown root without heavy highlights. I've had a hard time trying to find a review showing the difference between the cappuccinos shades. This has really helped. Really good. So hard to compare a super straight with a curlier style. I'm new to this, so "cool toned dirty blonde" is my natural color and maybe that's why it seems approachable. 🙂

Yes, I love Simmer in the regular Shaded Cappuccino with your skin. It looks cooler and I like the highlights. It doesn’t make sense. I keep thinking I want to go darker but I think maybe I should just take a step down from Shaded Biscuit and go to Shaded Cappuccino and do it gradually. I saw someone on an Raquel Welch page wearing Scene Stealer in Iced Java and I think I just really wanted to look like her instead of thinking that the Wig would look good on me.🤣🤣🤣

I liked the shaded iced cappuccino color best, mainly because it has more subtle or blended highlights, the ones with the obvious highlights just scream wig to me. For your face type, the fluffier one does look the best on you

I ordered Simmer Elite Wig by Raquel Welch RL10/22SS Shaded Iced Cappuccino | Light Brown shaded , and i was expected to be like yours in the video but the color was light like the shaded cappuccino with blond in the front . It’s beautiful but too light .

Is there more blond in the front of the RL12/22SS? The back seems to more brunette. Looks great on you.

I have the top billing in iced mocha RL8/12Ss and it has a green hue to it so I want to exchange it for another color and would love it if you could let me know if either of the iced cappuccino or iced cafe latte have a green hue? RW colours are so unnatural looking especially the root colours imo. I have two different wigs in shaded wheat and the colours are not even close. The manufacturer pictures are so misleading as both wig colours are the same in stock photos.

I wish people would put the colour numbers up on the video as they are showing them. so confusing ! plus they never have a good neutral background. I am definitely going to create some you tube videos, these are useless
