I've been meaning to get into Angela Carter, but don't know where to start with her work. is there any particular book of hers you'd recommend for a beginner? I've always wanted to read The Bloody Chamber, but I'm uncertain if that's a good place to start with her as an author? off topic: as a huge fan of Anne Rice's work, I've greatly enjoyed your journey/analysis through/of the different Chronicles. will you be reading the latter entries, such as crossover trilogy with her Mayfair Witches saga? Blackwood Farm, which is the second entry of the crossovers, is definitely a very good "modern day"- and I use the term very loosely- Southern gothic novel that I think you'd appreciate if you haven't read it yet. but, anywho, sending you good vibes!! thank you for the great content.
