No save states, no cheats, no turbofire
The goal of this playthrough was to get all the "No Shuriken" score bonuses in the game (100.000 per stage) which works on every regular stage except the Bosses and the bonus stages. Using the Mega Drive version terminology it's basically a "No Shuriken Except Bosses" method of play. However in this game it's really difficult since you can't just unmap the shuriken button and get guaranteed easy sword strikes.
Took only 1 death in stage 4-1 where I got hit and threw an accidental shuriken at the same time. I will still be attemtping a no death together with this challenge, but I will probably try to get it together with more (or maybe all) no magic bonuses too.

1CC challenge difficulty: 9/10 for a regular playthrough; 10/10 for getting the all No Shuriken bonuses.
