I can't believe it was almost 12 years ago I was sitting in my pajamas killing cat people, battling sea monsters, taking on the Japanese Army, fusing with a god, killing demons and saving the world.

I'm playing it right now and I'm absolutely in love with it. I adore the sheer weirdness and randomness of everything. I like games like this far more than most high budget games simply because this doesn't try to appeal to everyone it. People behind this game knew they weren't gonna make any impact if they just made another sci-fi/high-fantasy RPG and the only mistake they really made was to release it on the same week as Final Fantasy X.

I know I just finished playing all of them and i plan to play them soon again. Also did you play Koudelka? It's like the prequel to Shadow hearts only it's allot darker and more serious than the rest of those games

This remains my favorite boss theme from any video game ever. It is so mesmerizing and atmospheric. So beautiful!

I like how african it sounds and how it fits a china scenario to boot

This theme sounds like the most intense game of chess or checkers ever or going on a high risk stealth mission

Shadow Hearts and Chrono Cross have the very best OSTs imo
@yurilowell48783 жыл бұрын
Haven't played Shadow Hearts yet but Chrono Cross is my jam

Funny you should mention these two in the same breath, because Yoshitaka Hirota was Mitsuda's protege. I think Mitsuda himself even contributed a few tracks.
@SinfulOcelot3 жыл бұрын
@@NucleaRaptor also the 2 OSTs used the exact same instruments. I'm not saying they're the best osts cause of the similarities, I just happen to think they're both masterpieces on their own.

They don't make ost's like this no more

Madison Alyscia I'm the opposite, only finished this game. Haven't beaten 2 because the game freezes in cutscenes. Haven't played 3

The first one is the best! :) You miss so many nods to the original if you play SH2
