What an awesome card! The background technique with specific colors used is spot on! I love the stamp design. I believe the Black Soot "shadow" enhances its unique features. Adding dark ink around the outside edge of the panel was the perfect touch!

Very great tips…I have been wanting to use embossed images with watercolor. I don’t have many inks…so I am off and running…thank you…especially for the smooshing idea. I think that is what I need to do to get the “ look”

Just came across this now and i have to say wow, just wow. This is the type of card i would really enjoy making. I have WC card but its very yellow/creamy colour so i dont tend to use it in card making just fooling around with WC paints. Is yours white? Also can i just ask what size is the finished card. Thanks a mil for sharing
