I played the ps3 version of this game and actually finished it, but let's just say that the ps3 version was...less than finished, it was honestly the first time I've ever played a game so broken, animations would play for ages, loading times were excrutiating, textures were missing all around the game, it was honestly tragic. So recently, (like 4 days ago) I bought the game for the ps4, and as it turns out, without all of those issues, this game is actually extremely short, and it only took me those 4 days to get the platinum, the hardest one was the level 25 rune, but looking for info online, I discovered that if you kill a captain or warchief with branded uruks or mounting a caragor/graug, you'll always get a normal rune, so you can even make a death threath to further increase the level in case you miss anything and still get a level 25 rune. Using this knowledge I got a level 26 rune getting the following bonuses: +20 for level 20, +2 for warchief, +1 for revenge, +1 for knowing the weaknesses, +1 for exploting said weaknesses (like fear of caragors) and +1 for the death threath. I leave this explanation here in case someone's having issues getting this achievement

I had this game since 2019 and did platinumed 2 years ago if my memory serves right. "The Wight Rider" trophy and "Burning Vengeance" kept me away from getting Platinum but I got them after many tries

Idk how to count this but my longest "platinum" to date is Dead Rising with 15 years, longer than PlayStation trophies had even been around at the time. The quotes are due to the game being XB exclusive when it came out, only getting a PS release during the PS4 generation, which is when I finally platinumed it in 2021. Honestly, I still don't know how I pulled it off because some of the post-game trophies are absurd and will probably push most people to their limit.

As always, you're doing phenomenal work in your platinum hunting. I wish we could see you try to go for the DLC trophies, especially the hardest trophy in the game: The Hunt is My Mistress (where you have to kill 20 Captains and 5 Warchiefs within 40 minutes, whilst killing 10 of them with beasts and earning 13,000 points), but I know you're not as interested in 100% completion as you are about the platinum. Keep up the good work though. I hope to see you in the triple digits of platinum numbers soon (only 17 platinums to go before I join you there).

I’m playing this right now and the cloth physics is crazy. You compare that with modern games and the weapons are going through the armor. It’s almost like there’s a step back with some physics stuff.

Took me 11 years & 11 months, so almost 12 years to Platinum Deus Ex Human Revolution. I kinda prefer Mordor to War and ended up Platinuming both the original PS4 version and the Game of the Year edition that got its own trophy list. I need to go back to the PS3 version after my save got corrupted, it's a terrible port but I need that triple, lol.

My longest platinum time was 10 years and 4 months for Bayonetta on PS3; but my longest 100% time was 12 years and 5 month for Bioshock on PS3. I still have 1 trophy to earn on Vanquish (PS3) and my first trophy on this game was earned on the 22nd of October 2010, so the gap is still growing!

The reason games don't have the nemesis system us because WB patented it until 2030 or something but has only made Shadow of War since, which has essentially killed this system's potential.

The trophy for getting the level 25 rune took me 3 tries. The first attempt my guy killed the target before i could trigger his fear giving me a level 24 rune. Second attempt I did everything right and ended up getting an Epic rune and then final third try worked.

Congrats on the plat! And I think it's perfectly normal to compare the first two, especially when trophy hunting. Longest plat was for me was Final Fantasy X. That took me about 6 years.

The reason the nemesis style system is not used really by other studios is because its patented by Warner bros so other studios aren't allowed legally to use the system or systems too similar.

I had this game on Xbox 360 and is the ugliest I've ever seen. Somewhat related I completed Batman Arkham Asylum which is a beast, and definietly one of the hardest completion I have. I mean the combat challenges (and the 240 collectibles). 😵

I was set on getting the plat on that one but somehow my PS5 could not find the latest patch for that game meaning that the vandetta trophy wasn't obtainable since the servers shut down .😢😢 I was like 20 yours into the game when I realized that 😅
