Haven't played PS4 version, but I always felt like I was being followed or watched across the lands in the PS2 original, it was subtly creepy. There were weird phantom footstep sounds following around sometimes too, like someone or something kicking up small stones as they walked.

I just finished the game the ps4 remaster and in the dutch translation dormin says his body was split into 17 pieces not 16 I thought this was really weird

I expected for this to be similar to the other iceberg video, but I was caught off-guard by all the detail crammed into it! I especially liked the theories tying gameplay elements or cut content into canon. They were clever and thoughtful, like the invisible lands section.

I was the creator of one of the icebergs, really great explanations!🙏🏻 One interesting bit is that when I mentioned that Yamori A is the 9th I meant that for the longest time we knew only 8 unused colossi but we were also aware of Yamori A's existence but never really saw him as a unused colossus so when counting him it ads to 9 unused colossi 😉

I want you to know that this is one of my favorite videos on the internet.

Dormin to me sounds like an ancient god, one that simply is, rather than a being that achieved deification for a necessity of their people. Dormin feels like a force of nature that goes beyond our comprehension but does things for the simple reason that they can, neither good or evil

The rings make sense, but I have another theory why Phalanx and even Avion cannot or don't escape their Enclosures/Arenas. The just have a lot of mass. Avion is able to fly because of his large wingspan. If you look closely, it flaps them with a lot of effort and not that quickly as well. This implies that Avion just isn't capable of flying across the surrounding hills. As for Phalanx, he doesn't fly using kinetic energy such as flapping wings, but by using thermal energy to float around. The heatwaves of the Dessert allows it to keep afloat, while the Air Sacs on its underbelly provides steering and dexterity. If Phalanx decides to escape the desert region, it probably won't be able to stay airborne and eventually land on the ground. One simple rule could be that Dormin's essence makes them stay enclosed in their respective areas. The colossus seemed to barely be sentient. They have a child-like curiosity at times (Malus), but more or less are animalistic in nature. Some are more passive (Phalanx, Avion, Quadratus, Phaedra etc), while others are more aggressive (Dirge, Kuromori, Basaran, Gaius, Celosia, Cenobia etc), While some are in between (Value, Barbus, Argus, Hydrus, Pelagia). While Malus is clearly somewhat Sentient. It is bi-pedal, has a structure around it seemingly with greater Engineering involved, and also displays complex emotions at times.

Ive just been refering "Phalanx" and "Hydrus" as "Sand Dragon" and "Sea Dragon" respectfully. Didnt know what the 16 colossi names were so i just came up with my own names.

I love the video but I do have to admit all the "in world" explanations can lead to very blatant misinformation
