Why would anyone assume standing in one random spot would cause the platform to change when he stomps and allow you to climb up. I don’t get how the devs could make such intuitive fights one minute then stupid random shit like this the next.

thumbs up if you kept trying to climb up the ruins, land on the colossus, tried dropping down to his hand like 50x before finally raging then checking online to see how it's actually done.

HOW DO YOU GRAB HIS PALM SO EASILY!!!!???? He pulls away before I can latch on like he’s teasing me and now he’s exclusively using stomp attacks like he knows what I was trying to do. I’m playing this for the first time in over a decade and I’m having flashbacks to my rage and frustration.

If you want to avoid the hassle of coming to the ground again: I was able to climb down to the hand from the body of the colossus, so theoretically you could kill it after grabbing it once.

If you're stupid enough like me and play the game in hard mode, he also has a weak point at the bottom right of his neck.

He moves himself almost every second when you get into him and then it’s almost an impossible thing to find the position without your stance getting broken, it was so hard to get in a full swing, I love the game but going to this on the ps3 was just very tedious and hard

Mine was bugged at first time cause I hit the back of his arm with arrow so the sigil at its palm never appeared and it never slamed the ground with its hand . I was stck for an hour an half

Spent an hour and a half on this boss last night and still didn't beat it. Had to stop playing for the night so I fear I will have to redo it all over again. So frustrating. Here to hopefully find some better tips.

Holy crap this is 100% the most annoying one. I got to where you have to stab his hand but I could never grab it in time. Then he would stomp his foot 10 times in a row before smashing the ground with his fist again.

I figured out how to get on the first floor by myself, I even noticed the weak point near the elbow. I would probably never reached the second floor if it wasn’t for this video.

I was only able to wound I half way with the sigil on his head and a quarter with the one on his hand. Am I missing something? (Found it. On my okay through he had a third sigil on his left pectoral)

For those having trouble with him moving his hand away while you try to jump and grab on, there’s two possible fixes. 1. Try doing a short jump (just tap the jump button) while holding the grip button 2. This takes a bit longer but is more consistent, run around to the back of his hand and grab his knuckle armor, climb up to his wristband, crawl around to the front and stab his palm like normal

I think I’m a bit above average in terms of understanding and solving game puzzles and this one I actually solved relatively quicker than some of the others…… that being said, getting to the palm of his hand while he is shaking so much took me so long to figure out and honestly had a bit of luck involved. It kinda sucks cause even for a really cool remaster, you are fighting the controls so hard in some of the fights especially this one and much more with the final boss.

I've beaten this colossus before, but now I'm having a problem. Every time he slams his fist down I try to grab his palm, but I can't get past his fingers. Then, as her opens his fingers, he moves his hand at the same time, then lifts his hand up before I can catch up. Is the game glitching? Is this not supposed to happen, or am I just doing something wrong?

Well I found a glitch that killed me. I was baiting the colossas to swing at me on that first lvl up and I rolled and glitched through the map and died 😕

Soooo... first time fighting him. Ive managed to get up the wall WITHOUT him swinging at me from inside the wall and get on top with the bridge technique as shown. However while stabbing his head and weak spot I got him to drop his sword before I had to let go and try again, now I cant get up the wall bc I somehow managed to get up last time without him hitting the blocks down to stand on... so now i dont have those standing blocks, I cant manage to get up the way I WASNT SUPPOSED TO last run AND he has no sword to swing at me with while im inside the wall. Thx for the vid dude I should have watched it before trying to figure it out myself I wasnt expecting to get up the wrong way like im too smart for the game and thus dumb 😂. Ima have to figure something else out here

WTF there's one more vital point on his right side of his chest. Is that one not mandatory? This is the most annoying boss after the 3rd one. . I finished the game and only had to look up for how to beat the 3rd one rest all I managed to kill by myself.

You made it very difficult for yourself by climbing onto the colossus to get it to drop his sword when you could have just used your arrows.

I spent at least half an hour trying to climb up his legs why he stomped, why would they even put a climbing point there if you can't make progress that way, all the best looking bosses seem to have the worst gimmicks
