That large wave at 1:34 that Avion's wings create when she comes flying at Wander look SO GOOD. What an amazing detail.

I remember first time I played this fight, my dad walked in and was said he wanted to watch tv in a few minutes, I said I'd turn it off after this fight. So basically the moment where you are about to jump on the wings. My dad said "Look out he's going to hit you" and I was like "Nope" and jumped onto it. I think it blew his mind because he forgot he wanted to watch TV and instead just watched me play for 2 hours. I also somehow managed to take a leap of faith from one wing to the other at some point as the stamina was running low and I needed a better platform to rest. And that is also something unique to this game and this game only. It's been nearly 20 years and yet why hasn't this had a worthy spiritual successor? It's definitely still one of the most mindblowing bosses ever.

My best acrobatic moment on PS2 was on this boss. I once got to rigth wing, stabbed him twice and on the mid of the barrel roll, i let go my grip and grabbed from the tip of the other wing!!! it was amazing! (and it was 100% luck) Wanna try on this version!

I remember the very first time I fought this Colossi on the Playstation 2 version as s teenager. I was absolutely and completely shocked by the incredible cinematic-ness of the battle, especially after you grab his fur....just how he's flying and rolling trying to get you off, the crazy camera angles and stuff...it was jaw dropping for me, I'll never forget my experience with this masterpiece on PS2 when it came out. I'm getting the PS4 version Thursday! I am absolutely stoked to experience this amazing work of art again!

This boss fight was just incredible! Actually felt the fear of gripping on for dear life more than any other boss in the game.

I know people love Gaius as their most iconic Colossus fight, but Avion will always be my most memorable Colossus.

Never noticed how the water is affected by Avion swooping down over top of it, was always so focused on his approaching wing I could never appreciate the water physics.

Avion is good. The water sucks, but most of the fight is in the air. " Dispair Filled Farewell" is epic, no surprise there. Also, Avion is just chilling, which is neat. It makes me sad to kill him.

Not an expert, but does it make sense for Wander to just... catch the bird like that? It has the mass of a building, is moving at the speed of a car on the highway, and is colliding with you head on while you're stationary relative to it.

Honestly, I'm still prefer Avion original roar and voice from original game, just feel so majestic yet creepy and natural rather then dinosaur like voice in ps4 remake... But.. they are doing incredible job for making this remake..
