Lets make a petition to restart the show, it was amazing! maybe the producers could find another way of financing and finish, for instance a crowd funding.

Despite being 2 decades old, this show still holds up. It told a strong timeless story that no one would forget. It's a shame that it didn't get a 3rd season to wrap out all of the other loose ends that were still there.

This was one of my absolute favourite shows as a kid. I remember watching it as a weekend long marathon and being obsessed with the storyline. Over 10 years later and I have to admit that it was as much fun as I remember it. That really has to be the benchmark of not only a great cartoon, but an awesome story. War Planets was and still is one of best shows ever created. I just wished they could have created season 3 . And possibly seeing any last survivors from planet Reptizar.

Final thoughts after watching the whole series again: This episode was almost more of an epilogue, still it answers some questions still left. Mind bomb for you all: The alliance escaped the beast planet but they knew of them as a myth before. What if other planets had escaped it, and the story was told down by generations untill it became a myth? In a thousand more years, the beast planet could circle again to the system and they would think it would only be a myth. Also: Cult following. Maybe we didn't have a 3rd season, but some shows are known for having movie follow ups. Let's show the support!

I remember that this animated series aired on a TV channel here in Brazil called "Cartoon Network", at the end of 1999. About two weeks ago, I randomly remembered this cartoon and started researching it (I didn't even remember the name). I also found out that all the episodes were here on KZfaq! It's a shame there wasn't another season. It's amazing how most old cartoons had an engaging story and charismatic characters. Good old times...

It aggravates me that they gave crappy shows multiple seasons and they couldn't even give this golden gem a 3rd season.

Watched through both seasons again, and through each episode, it always left me with a small sense of sadness, for how the majority of present day western cartoons seemingly don't live up to this level of storytelling anymore. I do mean this in the entertainment sense, but also, in terms of the mature/gritty subtexts that were presented, as seen through the darkest of episodes, delivering a few important moral considerations which do have some relevance to real life, important for kids growing up (myself included of course). Prison for a criminal is shit, cooperation is best for finding peaceful outcomes, war is always a cruel travesty that should be escaped from... Simple messages like these can be found in an old series like Shadow Raiders, that are otherwise absent in today's western cartoons. Perhaps I'm buying a bit too deep into the series, but failing moral considerations, this still had some extremely engaging sci-fi concepts. Planet eaters, battle moons, world engines, epic space battles. Then there were the multiple hidden story arcs that carried through multiple episodes, (in some cases, even across a whole season, looking at Jade's explanation for how she first acquired the battle moons, finally in the last episode, what a neat turn-around). Find me something of such quality like the above that doesn't just exist in an anime, but in a western cartoon. I'm sure it'd be difficult. (Sigh) anyway, at the end of the day, I can only leave saying two things that everyone else here has probably typed/thought about already. This series was an epic, and I miss it dearly!

Tekla gossip Jade betrayal with the kids ,probably forgot the incident where she help Femur stole Rock's battle moons. Jade help Mantle ,at least help the alliance survive the battle at Ramora. Tekla help Femur ,was disaster to alliance's cause with no gain at all.

Leave the blaster, take the cannoli...huh, never knew Femur is Luca Brasi.

A shame the series ended with this episode. Would have loved to see how sternum assumes power and the beast returns.

I suspect the reason they send drones out to put down the planets defences is to prevent planets from escaping using their world engines. Considering Lamprey's knew of this technology it is likely that they either had some planet use it on them before or we would have found out some relation between the Beast Planet and those that installed the technology on each planet, that would explain Lamprey's fear. Shame we couldn't get the third season. It would have ended rather nicely.

Someone should give Dan DiDio a call and ask him what he and Len Wein had planned for any follow up seasons.

What a fantastic old gem of a show this was. I only ever saw a couple memorable episodes but they stuck with me. You know what this would be great for? A video game adaptation of some kind. Think it would have sold better then the toy line due to the age of most audience who watched it at the time. At least this show had a decent ending even if the 3rd season got cancelled.

Still say to this day this series needs a reboot or at least a movie. Twas so damn good. Even 20 + years later

If there had been a third season. It would have delved in to the origins of the Beast Planet and that of the World Engines.

I watched this show and Beast wars back in 1998 and I loved them so much, they just have this special something that I find so amazing. The finale should be a crossover with Beast wars in which the alliance along with the Maximals finally take down the beast planet once and for all. What a marvelous dream turned reality that would be.

Jade in the chamber reminds me of when Optimus Primal was linked with the Oracle on Beast Machines.

Sternum reminds me of Dwayne Johnson.

Weird isn't it how the final confrontation between Graveheart and Blok is the only time ever in the series the two have any interaction with one another or even appear on screen together.

Fantastic show! It has aged quite a bit. The animations, graphics of course, and the acting are all outdated, but it still holds when you put all together! We need a final season! Also "Planet Reptizar On Doomsday" is such a chilling and epic ending.

I hoped to find an end but nahhh... :v everything is good memory. Nice series!

I wish there was a season 3!! It would be epic to find more worlds within the story!! Like 10 more at least, watching half of them being devoured by the beast planet and the other half joining the alliance. & of course, learning more about how the world engines came to be. I wanna see the beast planet be destroyed too somehow. Like come on.. I've watched this show like 4 times already and I still love watching it over again and again =)

Such a great show

If I were really rich, I would have spent some of my fortune to finish this story, of course with better graphics corresponding to the today's world expectation. My favourite series when I was a teenager, still the story rocks. Maybe one day it will be continued, just as Samurai Jack was. The information we have so far from the story could be transformed to 1 or 2 additional seasons, but still I hope better than the samurai. We don't deserve that kind of ending after so many years of waiting.

While they didn't fully explore the universe or finish the story, at least there's closure to be had with this show. More than i can say about reboot's ending.

It seems many films, games got inspired by these series afterwards. Even the SW prequels space battles, Mass Effect and so on...

Talk about bitter sweet endings. The Allicence is saved but the Beast Planet is still active and the only villans confirmed yo have gotten there comeuppance are Julie and Blokk.

Watching the show through the Pandemic, I wonder what else some of the World engines could do? The planets we never saw along with characters we'll never see. Aside from moving the planets though Space, one planet's engines had the power to transport the Beast to another part of the galaxy "no small thing" The Beast sending Voyd, Blokk and Lamprey to scout the world's ahead in season 1 actually makes sense as it might have been to see how each world had mastered the planet's ancient technology, but ended up backfiring due to Lamprey's mistake, and ensured the alliance had the ability to run away. In any case whatever race created this technology may have been the Beast's true enemy, cause the Alliance didn't stand a chance from everything we saw.

Sucks that it ended but at least it got an end. They couldn't defeat The Beast but they did escape it. They're safe, for now at least.

I love this show so much. I keep thinking to do a podcast or something of it. So much potential for a continuation. Now that the planets are united, maybe you would get to see Hybrids, Fire and Ice planet offspring Cold Firey Hair or something like that, or a Planet Stone and Bone hybrid, reptilian with a tail but made of stone.

thank you very much for upload these series , i never watch the last 3 episodes when i was a kid , also its sad that no one ever rescue the spanish dub ver. ( well a user called casper rescue at least the first 10 eps . you guys should watch the dub ver and give your opinions :P) . how the series could continue (history) , i think the show would present us a new set of alien races , if the ones we saw had their wars because of resources , maybe the new ones could have political or regilious diferences and that could be the cause of the internal conflicts. and eventually these newcomers meet our original protagonist , learn the alliance send away the beast planet to them . and oh boy wonder what outcome could happen :O . another curious date is im pretty sure the toyline of war planets never came to mexico but the show was aired and fully dubbed . greeting from mexico and once again thank you for upload this hidden 90s jewel

I often wonder that the reason the beast planet consumes planets is because it no longer has the capacity to produce its own.

I liked this show as a kid, it was interesting and actually followed a plot. It's a shame the show depended on an unpopular toyline. Polly Pockets were never going to be a big hit with boys.

Such a shame this show was never rebooted, or continued. I'm surprised Rainmaker hasn't tried to do anything with it. Actually, who even owns the rights to the show anymore? Does Trendmaster still exist?
