This perfectly describes Shadow after he was brought back into the franchise and he put his past behind him! I wish he kept the optimism he gained after Sonic Adventure 2. But still, I can certainly see why people love Shadow! He's got a deep character and quite a backstory! He is the perfect example of an antihero! Shadow truly is The Ultimate Lifeform! ❤

@@CannedDepression The one for me would have to be All of Me for sure as one of my top fav's. However I reckon The Chosen One is a good fortelling of the depths of who Shadow is/was as a character & in who he became to be moving on forward.

MJ Knight Shadow The Hedgehog had terrible gameplay, meh storyline, but a badass soundtrack. Fits him in every way.

I enjoyed the gameplay. story....I will give you had a lot to be desired. But that said, Sega gave the player the choice on where the story would lead.

MJ Knight Yeah, and I’m pretty sure the game was a success and it sold 2 million copies (apparently it was, I saw it on a website) thanks to its replay value. Also I think SEGA had the right intentions when making the game by mixing things up with a game that was a lot more dark and serious than earlier titles, even going as far as adding guns and vehicle (although Shadow saying damn and hell was a bit much) and the branching storylines available also added some extra flare. I just like to believe that the problem was execution.

I played Shadow the Hedgehog a lot renting it back when blockbuster was still a thing. Renting it god knows how many times but never have I listened to this song. I feel dead now..

I love this game SO MUCH, that I did all 326 alternate pathways (it was a many-year journey with long breaks sometimes; I got the game in 2005 and decided to do all 326 alternate pathways starting in 2015, and finished all of them earlier this year)!!!

It’s not from a game. It’s from a Japanese trailer for Shadow the Hedgehog (that trailer has Shadow dancing). Just look up “Shadow dancing” on KZfaq and the trailer should be in the results.

Shadow didnt really affect the franchise, it was more so Sonic 06 that gave the 3d games a terrible rep, even though we had bangers like SA1, 2, and heroes before it.. Unleashed, Colors, and Generations were all good 3d games too. Hot take but the storybook games (secret rings and black knight) for the wii I found fun.

+knightofthewind Yeah, it was two different scenes and I wanted to put the part of them racing. The scene of them falling didn't show any fighting scenes. I should have just left it with them both clashing together at the same time, then the falling scene.

Shadow the hedgehog 2 should happen but, make it like Sonic CD. Good future and bad future as well as a neutral future.Make 3 different endings and make it retcon Shadow The Hedgehog as a coma dream.
