- **Cast a Spell:** Initiating a spellcasting check to cast a spell. Wizards use Intelligence, while priests use Wisdom for their respective spells.
- **Improvise:** Performing creative or improvised actions, subject to GM discretion.
- **Multitask:** Performing small, parallel tasks like standing up, speaking, or using a magic item.
These steps set the foundation for the sequence of events during a combat turn in the Shadowdark RPG system, providing structure and order to the dynamic and tactical nature of the encounters.
