Nice to see some new SR content :D I bought all three and played the first two years ago, but only got around to HK last year for some reason (played it 6 or 7 times to make up for it 😁) "Say the numbers out loud" is the BEST tip! For the symbols here's what I do: 1. Give each one a name I will remember (for example M, W, unicycle, pacman) 2. Watch the top display until it has shown 3 symbols in positions I can remember (for example, "the first three symbols are M, pacman, unicycle") 3. Now look through all the other lines and find the ones that match what I know so far - there's usually only 2 or 3 lines that match. I point my fingers at 'em to keep track. (I've just narrowed down the options from 10 to 2 or 3) 4. Go back to watching the top line for new symbols, and before long I've narrowed that 2 or 3 down to the only possible answer. Get lots of time in the numpad stage, then stay calm and don't rush the symbols stage. If you think you've found the right line but are not 100% confident, spend the remaining time watching the symbols to be sure. With practice, I found that (a) I got much quicker at step 2 (can usually memorise the first 3 or 4 symbols I see, regardless of what position they're in) and (b) I don't need as much time, so I usually end the numpad stage after the first or second 6-digit number. lmk if this works for ya PS: found this channel because I'm playing Wrath of the Righteous (my first Pathfinder experience and I NEEEEEDED HELP!), it's really cool to see you doing Shadowrun stuff as well.

That last part you showed me...I hate it...I really hate it and it kills me cause I love decking in shadowrun and this game really ruined my mood playing it

i will say something controversial here, i prefer this over the returns/dragonfall decking. also not so controversial: Iz is a thousand times more likable than Blitz.

Ugh... I HATE decking in this game! It was so much better in pretty much every other Shadowrun game ever, and that includes SNES and SEGA Genesis versions! It doesn't feel like hacking at all, and the two mini-games are just annoying. I usually end up just forcing the hack rather than playing the mini-games, if possible. Thanks for this video, at least now I feel a bit more capable of handling decking.

This was easily the worst change to shadowrun. It also never felt as impactful as it was in dragonfal? In later missions I started not bringing iz at all with me and it was fine.
