Originally it was planned for a 'remake' of the SNES game, but the project died very quickly.
Since I had 3 or 4 songs completed, and the excitement of working on each of them was so freaking great, the end result was the whole music library from the game.
I tried to stay true to the original songs keeping their theme intact.
However I tried as well to be re-inventive, fresh and original on each of them.
So if you find them good or bad, awesome or awful, just leave your most honest opinion.
I'm really willing to read what your critics and comments are.

@@gi_nattak first time i play this game i was like 9? English being not so good at the time and being a 9 brings me nowhere but farm ghouls for all the karma. Since then I've played it many times. The new SRs just doesnt cut it.

I love Dragonfall for all it does, but the SNES game really captured the gritty street level dog eat dog feel best.

I work in a hospital laboratory where our supply room is inside the morgue. You bet I hum this song every time I go on a supply run! I have to check and make sure that nobody's in there working on a body first, though...

Dude, I'm a musician, a bit out of practice, but still a musician. This cover, or remake or whatever you want to call it, is awesome. I truly dig it. Keeping the original intact just making it crisper, and I really love the new drum beat that goes with it. Love it. Just love it.

I actually glad I only played this one in more recent times than when it was new. If I played this game as a kid, I would have hated it. But after playing it just flipping through random ROMs, I was hooked. It got me into the PnP game, which I love so much more than D&D.

The Shadowrun Returns soundtrack is pretty great and has several deliberate echoes of the SNES and Genesis games.

This is a very good revamp of what was probably the most recognizable theme from the SNES version of Shadowrun. Looking forward to Shadowrun Returns and a remake of this on the Steam Workshop.

This perfectly fits an urban jungle environment in my opinion. One of those rare places within city limits where you'll find packs of feral dogs and people who'll ambush you in a group like primitive hunters, right down to hand crafted blades made of glass instead of flint.

Never played this game before, so I was wondering barring why it sounded so familiar. Then it hit me: this song was remixed for the final boss fight in Shadowrun Returns. Sounds like the developers had a library of music to reference, which is a nice homage to the prior games.

that sucks because those guys said they would make it similar to the snes and genesis soundtracks, that was a big point during the kickstarter launch. at the least we should get a remix of some original tracks in it. the more I see footage of it it's looking and sounding like it isn't really doing this title justice...

damn, the snes version has an awesome soundtrack. I've only ever played the genesis version, which has a equally great soundtrack, but this is great to listen to, too for the first time.

Sounds great! Really missing the bass starting at :27. Just doesn't have the power of the original without it.
