*Something important to note:* When the Spinosaurus fought that adult Tyrannosaurus, it quickly knew and went for a neck snap. This is undoubtedly proof that Spinosaurus has killed other Tyrannosaurs based on that experience or else it wouldn't have known to do that. The bite mark injuries also seemed to be gone and completely nonexistent the following day. The movie did indicate this when Eric said T.rex pee attracts the Spinosaurus but this detail certainly highlights it. Then we have other other pieces of information like from the Dinosaur Protection Group on what Spinosaurus did on Sorna's population. It's been suggested that the Spinosaurus has shown a great sense of high intelligence given its quick adaptability/thinking when the Indominus wasn't able to perform that method during the fight with Rexy.

You're actually right that Jurassic Park 3 wanted to be a bit controversial by having the Spino kill the T-Rex. There was a paleontologist who, I believe, helped with Jurassic Park 3 that absolutely hates the T-Rex, no idea why, and wanted the Spino to kill the T-Rex.

Probably hated Rex because of the amount of people who only know the T-Rex when it comes to apex dinos and thus think a Rex is like Godzilla or some shit. Truly it gets annoying because while the Rex is cool and all, it's not even the most interesting Tyrannosaurid imo (the Alioramus, Dasp, Torbo, and Yutyrannus are all much cooler than the Rex and I will die on this hill). Like yes, the Rex was easily one of the most powerful dinos to ever live. But the amount of people who are like "big bite so nothing would have ever been able to kill one" and that's absurd when you think about that logic.

The deleted scene with the baby wouldn’t count since it’s deleted and the spino is known to be a male. Also apparently the scientist that created it was only pretending to be an ingen worker but was actually a Biosyn scientist hiding among them.

I wtch JP3 long time ago but if i remember corectly Eric dont tel wher he get T-rex urine, we dont know wher Spino teritory are. Puting it simply Rex marks his teren, Eric take his urine, uses it on Spino teritory so he go cheack why rex steall his teritory. And about battel, Spino was in rage and T-rex block him. So for me Spinosaur was just teritorial and agresive.

The actual script says the Trex unknowingly intrudes on the Spino's Territory and that's what sets it off with Grant being surprisingly more scared than shown in the script..

The script is a complete mess, not to mention received countless re-writes. They were even re writing it whilst filming lol besides, it doesn't explain the spino actively moving around all of isla sorna wiping out the ecosystem as stated for its lore :)

Shadows,I don’t think this theory holds weight because there were a limited no. Of Trex only on Sorna . And unlike spino , Trex stay in group of 2-3 as seen in lost world … So it’s unlikely that it used to kill trex for vitamins n all . Also , it doesn’t have any new trex to feed on in new dessert biome . The baby spino theory stands out better because it was chasing the visitors specifically,exactly like velociraptors because it had personal grudge with them. Shadows if i may , I have a better theory and you can use it in your next video. Lets just call this main spino as Sss. Maybe the crew shot the other adult spino or baby spino , the SSS chased the crew to plane , crash landed the plane . While SsS was there , the trex came and started eating the shot spino in spino nest . The dead body that trex was eating was that of the dead spino and the crew came across the nest . In the next scene , SSS comes towards the crew , but how did he know they were there because it had lost their track after the plane crash. Because SSS was returning to its nest rather than chasing the presumably lost crew . And next moment it saw a trex coming out of the nest with smell of dead spino blood traces in its mouth . Thats why SSS was so infuriated with that Trex and started chasing other Trexes as well as Eric stated later. Shadows , I support you buddy and I hope you use this theory in the next video. I just want this to be highlighted in a video and I will not claim anything, it’s free to use theory for you.

The most hilarious part about this, aside from the fact the two dinosaurs were separated by tens of millions of years, and thus would never have encountered one another IRL, is the fact that Spinosaurus is now believed to have been primarily a piscivore, as opposed to an all around carnivore macropredator like tyrannosaurus was.

The Jurassic World park opened in 2004 it had been open for 10 years when the I Rex escaped and shut down the park. Masrani's team probably made it during that time. I don't recall Mosasaurs on InGens original list.

The only reason they’re together in the movie is they’ve obviously recreated all the dinosaurs with their DNA. Factually, the T-Rex and Spinosaurus lived in different locations and were existing at different points in the late Cretaceous period.

Technically it wasnt hunting the trex, it was hunting the ppl , though i believe spino is kinda the origional indominous since the actual spino wouldve been lower to the ground, it was like a trex sized croc with a sail on its back an was a fish eater primarily , i spent alot of my childhood years yelling at these movies lol but i loved just as much

Spino was created in 1999 so it wasn’t around during TLW and the baby storyline doesn’t work since it’s a deleted scene and it’s canon that the spino is male

It would make sense why the Spino is a hybrid, considering it is vastly different than a realistic Spino. It’s probably the first Dinosaur ablento adapt to its surroundings in light speed

I just wanna add that I think that the urin of the T-Rex doesn't attract the spinosaurus, but rather the ceratosaurus. In the germen film Eric says (I only now german by now):" Der mit dem Stachel" wich would translate to "The one with the spike". That would defenetly fit the ceratosaurus much more. The second reason for that is also the szene where we can see the cast searching for the phone in the poop of the spinosaurus and the ceratosaurus suddendly appears. Rather than killing the cast the ceratosaurus just sniffs at the poop and goes away again. That is kinda the exact behavior described as with the urin of the T-Rex. Maybe that affects your theory just a bit, but not too much I guess...

In "Jurassic World Evolution 2," during the Chaos Theory game mode, there's a moment where the Spinosaurus is killed by Velociraptors. Following this event, players are tasked with deploying a helicopter to retrieve the Spinosaurus' body. It's at this point that Masrani mentions he has a plan for the Spinosaurus remains. This intriguing detail cleverly ties into the movie, where the plan is revealed to be the Spinosaurus skeleton.

I’d have appreciated this fight more if it was longer and both combatants were evenly matched but instead they made the T-Rex look too weak and vulnerable and portrayed the Spino as smarter, tougher and even having a stronger bite force….. Look at Kong vs Godzilla….. he is totally outmatched but he still gives Godzilla a hell of a fight……. that would’ve made this fight better and less argumentative.

The fight was supposed to have done on for longer, however due to the Spinosaurus animatronic being newer and far more powerful, it actually ended up destroying the T Rex animatronic which was old.

One of the best analysts I have seen in a while tho spino isn’t the first hybrid since every dino has other animal dna to compete the code always have spino is like a prototype spino with how aggressive it’s and how weak its digestive system is a completed spino wouldn’t of have the super aggressive behavior or weak digestive system but it might not have been as big or powerful

The spinosaurus killed the t-rex due to his aggressive to his aggressive and territorial nature and hunted them down due to that and he was simply aggressive that's why he whipped out the most dinosaur that were on isla sorna and he was not searching to find his place on the food chain because he already had

I know what you are doing but the real reason the spino is so agressive it marketing. They built this movie on the battle woth the TRex and that it was more dangerous. So many toys were focused on it fighting and killing a T-Rex including a rock 'em sock 'em robots type that they pushed SOO hard. Second..I never saw Camp Cretacious..I've not really had the pull to it despite being a HUGE JP fan..however I am a bit confused by some info you put in here. As far as im aware, CC is suppsoed to take place in the current JW timeline correct? I was under the impression that timline still retconned the Lost World and JP III out. It sort of acts like Star Wars Legends where anything that qulifies is not cannon unless introduced into the modern cannon and only for what has been introduced. An example being that Ingen clearly still made a spinosaurus simialr to the one from JP III, including all its inaccuristic triats but non of what happened in JP III with it actually occured. Is this not thw case? Has the divide been retconned by this show? Is it a seperate cannon from JW or both JP and JW where it cherrypicks from both to create something new? Im just cofused why you keep using things from TLW and JPIII intermingled with JW lore when I was under the impression the Spino from 3 and CC had to be different animals.

I cant really tell but I’m pretty sure when the rex fought the spino I don’t think it thought the spino would go for a fight to the death and that the blood on the spinos neck wasn’t its but was the parasaurs that it was eating

I think it was because of the new at the time (now debunked) info on the spino and the writers wanting to build up the new threat/antagonist to be something scarier and more dangerous than the rexes of the prior films

Camp cretaceous seasons 4 and 5 are definitely NOT cannon (didn't even have the same roar) Otherwise that means mecharaptors and yuri scenes are also cannon to the jurassic franchise. So as far as I'm concerned, spinosaurus is still on Isla sorna.

From a lore standpoint, I feel like it's safe to assume that because the Spinosaurus was so heavily experimented on in order to make the best possible hybrid it had become more hyper aggressive to any perceived threat.

@basimali619 it doesn't have any dino dna, it's spino dna with a tiny drop of mix modern animal dna. it's a genically enhanced dinosaur, not a hybrid towards Indominus rex.

One thing I did question on this video is the T Rex had thr most powerful bite of any animal ever. I may be wrong but im pretty sure thats actually thr megalodon which had the most powerful bite ever?
