Pakistan won by 16 runs played on 31 March 2000 and hansie cronje last match as captain he played well this match got out to a wrong shot waqar man of the match and series just before March fixing scandal shhook the world pak win this tournament then cable wireless series in west indies and maiden asua cup under moin captaincy unfortunately lost test series in west indies due to umpiring then won test series in srilanka lost tri series then gogrej series in singaore lost to south africa in finals then champions trophy lost the semifinal to NZ won bilateral series against eng in pak but lost the test series karachi after 41 years I suppose
