It was in 1996. Shahid Afridi’s record of fastest century remained unbroken for 18 years until 2014 (and then in 2015) when batting rules of the game were much relaxed including power overs, fielding restrictions, free hit.

I was a die hard fan of cricket in the 90's. I've always wanted to watch this match but couldn't because no TV, Star or ESPN ever telecast it. I thouoght this particular match was never recorded. All I knew that there's a new kid called Shahid Afridi, and he seems to be brilliant. Thanks for this video. One of my wishes came true.
