This kid got it. I was holding my judgement to see if he could have another year like last year, and he's better. He's unstoppable. It's no question he's top ten in the game. But I'm starting to wonder how close is he to top 5? Cause he's CLUTCH with all capital letters. And this team is good, with a absolute chance to be special. In a year years, nobody is gonna wanna face this team. Shai is undoubtedly in the MVP race.

The sky is the limit for this guy. He's such a consistently great scorer and he makes it look easy. In a league where everyone is obsessed with the volatile 3pt shot - Shai is putting together these games dependably, night-in night-out, the way Kobe did.

Shai's ability to score the ball is simply amazing. Some of those shots he was hitting in the 4th/OT were amazing considering the difficulty. Deserves to be an all-star again this season. Hopefully OKC makes it to the playoffs this season 🔥

I have watched almost every OKC game for years. SGA is incredible and he reminds of Clyde “The Glide” Drexler who I loved watching as a kid. The Thunder will be true contenders this season. Take care everyone.

Of all the great offensive guards in the league you want to name since Kobe (Curry, Harden, Westbrook, Luka, Lillard, Booker, Kyrie, etc.), Shai is one of only two that could (and probably will at some point) make an All Defense team; the other being Anthony Edwards maybe, he's younger and not quite as polished at the moment. All of them can make this shot at 4:44 ... none of them other than SGA and maybe Ant could reliably make this stop at 4:56 (guys like Smart and Jrue can but they're nowhere close offensively). That is Jordan-esque two-way play and we haven't had a two-way guard like this in a while (since Kobe probably). And SGA will never be either Jordan or even Kobe, he's not a freak athlete in terms of pure speed and leaping ability, but his game sense, body control, and skill level particularly his handles and mid-range is pretty close. Not to mention his clutch shot-making. He looks good enough to be an MVP and the best player on a championship team someday.

Losing isn't something a great player should be damaged by. In the nfl it's more of an issue because of all the moving parts but basically every great player becomes a winning player as long as they don't get injured in the nba. Theyre just young. They need experience and continuity. Okc is different because their best player has been on a winning team with veterans so although he's young he has seen how it's done unlike most great players on young teams
