This is a great argument, he’s a guard and has a efficiency like a center, hes good at free throw line as well, he’s averaging 30ppg he could possibly become the Greatest thunder player ever

@@owmegwoagm he didn't say best scorer. He said consistent efficient scorer. Which is true. He has the most 30 point games, and game in game out he is extremely efficient. An "off night" for SGA is shooting like 10-22

Both 2 way players. Hard workers. And he will probably get rings. But I don’t like this comparison. Same technicality on mid range and using angles/ physicality but MJ based his game around jumping ability/ scoring over help defenders. That’s his true separator. Shai’s seems to be IQ and ability to use contact to score in a variety of ways

@@chillen9109 honestly, why are y'all so butt hurt? Do you guys even watch the 76's? Embiid EARNS most if not all the fouls he gets by simply being too quick and crafty for his defenders. I get some of his exaggerated falls get most of the attention but on the flip side you don't sound any smarter or objective just regurgitating talking points from salty haters, unless of course you're a hater yourself and being objective was never the point

@@cozyfades1587 my b, I didn’t see it was just about scoring. Even then though, Shai still has a huge argument. The main argument for Luka on offense is playmaking, scoring-wise they’re almost identical, Luka just has a higher usage. Shai is better offensively according to the advanced stats though. They’re super close so I wouldn’t be upset either way.

As a SCORER it's been Luka imo for some years now but Shai is making a REALLY strong case this season. I think the difference this season is he's surpassed Luka as a paint scorer but that may be because Luka has stepped up and subsequently entered a different league as a 3pt scorer. Shai's much better at the ft line and they avg the same number of attempts (making that particular point by another commenter moot). To me I would lean Shai this season because of the overall superior efficiency but Luka is scoring more and is much better from 3 so it's really close
