Definitely different, it’s considered rude in the uk, I was a waitress and we wouldn’t clean the plates away until the whole table is finished their meal

That’s so true about the cleaning away the plates in America!! I’m from England and it’s so different here. Waiters/waitresses won’t clean away a table until the whole table has finished their meal. Was definitely a shock when I visited America and the waiter took my plate away whilst my friend was still eating, that would be considered rude in the UK. Funny how the two countries can be different ❤️
