Especially in certain parts of the internet, men with the opinion that women "hit a wall" after 30, while they are studs with nice jobs and a car,that are just biologically attracted to fertile 20 something girls, so there's nothing wrong with them going after them, are quite common. That shit is gross and scary. I actually had a housemate lie this once it was sick and wrong how she screamed at a young person she dated and then bragged about it like it was her being strong and powerful and everyone would respect it.

Both need to be treated as carefully and equally as each other. Touching young people in any way is wrong, but we all know that if it was a boy being touched, no one would bring attention to it or care. @Voracious Reader the thing is, what this guy is trying to say is that woman get away with sexually harassing/manipulating men a lot more than the other way around. Now, I’m pretty sure he wasn’t trying to disprove that things like this happen to women. But, there are many cases where little boys (about 7-14) get manipulated into having sexual relationships with teachers, a lot of people were congratulating the minors saying how lucky they were and how “hot” the teacher was. When In the end, it’s really mentally damaging. Nobody batted an eye to it, and the people that were arrested got very low sentences. Shallon, the tweets weren't the crime. The tweets were the evidence.
@liaonac94283 жыл бұрын
What Shallon is doing is called grooming, and it’s wrong whoever does it, and it’s mostly done because the groomer already sees the potential victim as someone who will be easy to manipulate, it was done to me as a very young child and it disgusted me then. As an almost 40 year old woman I had a difficult time listening and enjoying some of Justin Beiber’s songs, because as the almost 20 to 30 year old woman I was when he got famous, I couldn’t relate to him because he was a child. I thought he was a talented kid, and I definitely understood why he was and is so popular. But that didn’t change the fact that I didn’t feel like I was part of the target audience. And this is fine because understanding our social arena, and being able to interact, in a non sexual way, with other people who are not in that arena is part of being a grown up. I’m actually shocked and disgusted that this is not common sense and that telling grown people that sexualizing children is wrong is still needing to be said. I saw this happening to Britney Spears and other young female artists and it was wrong then and it’s wrong now.

Shane Dawson said things just as bad. So yes, men do get away with it too.
@filminginportland16544 жыл бұрын
Molly Kircher It can also just as easily be interpreted as young, inexperienced men looking to an older, experienced woman. Older men are more set in their ways, while younger men tend to be more immature and not all that cognizant of what women want & expect in a relationship. As such, women _do_ teach them what a woman expects in a relationship and what bad habits turn them off. I don’t know why so many jump to the absolute worst conclusion when a completely different interpretation seems more likely given what she discusses with her viewers, who are mostly women. It fits perfectly with that context. It’s also not grooming behavior when it’s a legal, consensual relationship with another adult. It’s not at all “textbook grooming.” Have you never heard men tell stories of being with older women? It’s not at all uncommon, and often younger men will have early relationships or flings with older women to learn what they need to know so that when they date people their own age, they’re better prepared for a long-term relationship. I’m shocked this is somehow news to you all. This has been done throughout history and has nothing to do with grooming, manipulation or anything sinister.
@Labinzel4 жыл бұрын
@@filminginportland1654 As was stated in the video, there is nothing inherently wrong about age differences but some of the wording she uses (such as "take instructions" implys a power imbalance that is not remotely healthy in a romantic relationship) and paired with her other actions (multiple counts of sexualizing minors) make her relationships very shady at best. (Also, saying it's been done historically is a terrible argument. There is so much horrible shit in history. "Tradition" is not enough of a reason to do something)

I’m 28 - when the bruises gets poked it’s still awful. Chaz being famous means (I hope!) that he has people sift through his social media, etc so that he doesn’t have to deal with people like Shallon spewing pure garbage from their mouth and/or fingertips. *One time* scarred me for life (my twin did it, but still). Plus Shallon Lester HATES Selena Gomez because she is the REAL soulmate of Justin and PRAISES Hailey Baldwin because she was his side chick! She loves Hailey because Shallon thinks that she looks like Hailey and even said that she sees herself in Hailey LMFAO (probably because Shallon and Hailey are both racists, xenophobic, toxic and manipulative). So Justin (with whom Shallon is obsessed since he's 14) is married to Hailey Baldwin (Shallons "look alike") instead of to Selena (His first and the love of his life)! So you can do the math now, Shallon sees herself as Hailey who's married to Justin and sees Selena as "the other woman" and her "enemy" LMFAO. She even said that Selena is her enemy!
