I’m gonna share the hell out of your channel! I am a recovering addict, and work with addicts , and I know sometimes personal stories can give the still suffering addict a glimmer of hope. Keep on putting out these stories!

Most people cannot understand how powerful and life changing that experience can be when an addict first discovers that drug use ‘fixes’ everything for them. It makes them feel ‘ok’ for the first time in their entire fucked up lives, and seems to be the key to everything they felt had been missing for so long. I think you described this experience well. The way you tell your story is remarkably genuine and heartfelt.

He was 39 yrs old he needed help he was in the same addiction of heroin my son was not a troublemaker he was sooo humble. I still can’t believe my son is gone. 10-23-18. 02-14-79

Jail just makes it worse because then they got a criminal record making it harder to get a job which means more excuses to go back to using. Also there’s drugs in jail/prison you know?

Thanks for sharing... I wonder if he ever looked into social anxiety.. I’ve had extreme social anxiety since I was a kid and myself am still a functioning addict on Xanax and on suboxone now for the past 6 or 7 years.. functioning meaning still go to work everyday and live a somewhat normal life.. but I don’t like that I have to rely on a substance to not feel the way I do sober

I believe that when a person has a substance-abuse that when they lose their job and they don’t have access to money it’s a blessing because they need to hit rock bottom in order for them to see they need help and reach out for a rehab center and get closer to god !!!!

No it’s not. When they lose their job they go to stealing, prostitution, selling drugs.
