Poor guy :( sitting here watching this interview is so upsetting even though it was years ago its still very sad that Shane Filan went bankrupt but thank god he has since had a very successful solo career god bless him forever!!!

When he is talking about his wedding ring at 8:12 you can see the emotion in his eyes. The eyes never lie. Poor man, but that is what happened to so many in Ireland during the "boom" of the so called "celtic tiger". I never trust booms, I would and do save my money or keep it in my bank, and be very very careful. Shane's story is a warning to us all.

From all the Westlife members, including ex-member Brian, Shane's accent has always been the most clear to me. It almost has a slight little American-ting to it. :)
