I’ve been watching your videos for a while Shane. I watch a lot of different channels about turkey calling and I would have to say that was the best tutorial I’ve ever seen. No one tells you what mouth reads to use they just assume everyone can be as good as them. You really break it down for us novice guys. Thank you

Hey Shane I just wanted to thank you for for the mouth call lessons. I’ve been practicing at home driving my wife crazy. I went out to a local public area last night to try and locate with coyote bark/howl using your technique. I was able to locate 5 gobblers even had a bunch of dogs and coyotes sounding off all around me. I now feel more confident about my ability to locate roosted gobblers. Thanks again for the instructions and all the entertaining videos .

Incredible and very realistic calling! There are very few that can reproduce truly authentic sounding calls like this man can. Thanks for the tutorial, because now's the time to get the calls out and practice, not two days before the season.

I have been turkey hunting for over 41 years now. I have started here in Ohio since it’s start. I have to say after watching your vids here on what cuts and how to use the mouth calls properly, you are the only one that explains it like ever before. I did participate in Ohio’s first ever NWTF State calling competition. I did ok and I was calling for Rohm brothers. I finished second in the gobbling and the guy who won it and I used our voices. I am a turkey head since I killed my first bird the very first 9 days straight in pouring rain. Bottom line is I am a student of the game. I absolutely love all your vids and pay attention even now at 62 years old.

Just subbed the other day, trying to catch up on hunts from the past. This is a very helpful video on how to use you throat and air to adjust the sounds. I don’t turkey hunt that much, but now my kids want to go. So I need to call a little better due to the fact we hunt mostly public land. Thanks for the time and tips! Anxious for the season to start.

I’m very new to turkey hunting and calling. I picked up a primos mouth call last year and played around with it. Not sure if it’s a good one or not but it drove my wife, kids and dog absolutely crazy in the house. I’m not very good with it. I just opened up this video and she gave me the devil look and said “you better not start that again!!” 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll prob stick with the box call until I get things figured out better 👍

Wish I could do more than yelp and putt on mouth call. My problem is the roof of my mouth is narrow. Regular mouth calls are too wide and youth calls are to small. So far the only call I have found that fits me is the Primos Hacked Off calls that are no longer made.

You might want to consider trying aggressive calling out sometime and you just might find out how much more effective it is than purring. Good luck this spring.
