I mean no he isn't its his opinion but its definitely up there at least top 5. The episode was flawlessly executed unlike the gear 5 episode which was a big let down imo because of all the fodder cutscenes, and horrible pacing not to mention zero tension. Where here you can feel the danger and horror the kid pirates are facing eveything from the sound effects/music, detail, and character designs, as well as the pacing was perfectly executed.

Can turn off future sight, kid doesn't have future sight. Kids observation haki is probably at that level where he has to focus to actually gain information. And Kid was more focused on Damned Punk than observation As shown later in that future sight he didn't even know the Red force or shanks were while Shanks knew Kid was coming.

Cause Kaidou was playing around. Shanks gave the same treatment that Kaidou gave to Gear 5 Luffy. If that Kaidou fought kid, one thunder bellow bagua would give Kid the same disrespect that Shanks gave him. No holding back and completely locked on.

Even though in the long term the person can try again after healing. Given that thematic concept, Kidd's crew giving up the Poneglyph rubbings is much more important than a simple beg for mercy.

I get what your saying but shanks would of killed them if they didn’t he asked for them specifically begging for mercy wouldn’t of been enough and they knew it so it was either die fighting or give to them kid would prefer to die fighting so if lived he may be mad but they made right choice there all fodder he took the only two out that mattered in what shot

No one of the messages in the series is that Blackbeard isn’t at all fit to be pirate king that’s why Shanks doesn’t like him and keeps an eye out. Roger likely told Shanks to find and test Joy Boy as the gatekeeper to the One Piece which explains why he gave up on his dream of Pirate King until then. Blackbeard has the potential to throw destiny off its course and plunge the world into chaos. Despite popular belief I don’t think Shanks vs Blackbeard ever happens because it has been established that Shanks is not only stronger but by a lot and I’m not saying Blackbeard is weak I have him as 2nd strongest including when Kaido was active But Shanks is just stupidly strong. Aside from Whitebeard’s quote to Blackbeard and Shanks not liking him what’s even more telling is how Blackbeard goes about things. He takes the most underhanded route he can think of is just look at the ability of his right hand it’s very fitting. These dirty tactics approach won’t work against Shanks bc he has future sight which adds to the theme. For him to defeat Shanks he has to do it legitimately but he’ll never be able to do that because unlike Luffy he takes the easy way out. Luffy vs Katakuri while a very flawed fight writing wise was the perfect example of Luffy toughing it out and ultimately getting rewarded for it Luffy vs Blackbeard are fighting for the right to face Shanks basically, the idea Shanks is just meant to be a victim of Blackbeard never reuniting with Luffy at this point is a stupid outdated disrespect to the story theory. Someone Oda told the ending to even said Shanks is as important to One Piece as Luffy in the film red interview+Oda saying WAY back in 1998 Shanks appearing a lot means it’s the final saga. Notice that even though this is the final saga Shanks still isn’t appearing all the time bc we’re only in the early stages of the saga
