This is awesome. Pretty much a sedate version of what I would like to build as an ultimate, all-round 4x4. Which is something that can tour with the family, be a capable rock crawler / winch truck, and hit whoops at 80kph or clear 30ft tabletops on a Motorcross track.

Nice, but totally illegal in Australia (ADR13, VSB14, etc...). Over the last twenty years Australians have developed an invincible "fuck the law" attitude. I'd like to know where it came from?

There are hundreds and hundreds of pages of road safety laws, and Australian design and road rules are a lot tougher than overseas. I'd hazard a guess and say 100% of Australians are ignorant of the road rules and are driving in illegally modified vehicles and/or driving not according the road rules. It doesn't take much, even opening the window and resting your elbow on the sill is illegal...

id have to agree, a credit to the owner for fabrication of the suspension components, unless they have been tested and approved u cant use them on the road. All codes under vsb14 specifically mentions ADR compatibility of all componets. Has this vehicle been certified??

Giving genuine tourers and 4wd enthusiasts a bad name. Even happily admitting to pretty much tearing up tracks and probably one of these idiots that make them impassable to the average Joe with a 2 inch lift doing the right thing. And definitely not ADR approved.
