I got addicted to huffing gasoline in my teens. I’m afraid I’ll get cancer now. I did it for years. Gasoline is so detrimental to the human body. It deprives your brain of oxygen and if you huff it too long you go into a sort of trip and it’s terrifying. As weird as it is, parents really need to talk to their children about huffing, just like they need to about all other drugs.

Whenever I see a person who's living a life plagued by an addiction out of society's norm's it just proves that addiction is not limited to one thing and it is truly capable of affecting anyone, addiction has no alliance to just one type of person, no matter their race, sex, location, or wealth it's something that's most addicts are born with that lays dormant inside of us until that day that one thing comes along and awakens this deadly beast of addiction. And by this video as example can be something you would never even imagine one to be addicted to can so easily become someone's deadly affliction destroying their very existence. Yes drug addiction causes people to do awful things in order feed there desperate need for whatever it is, and though there's no real excuse to justify their behavior, everyone who isn't living with real addiction should remember that absolutely no one wants to be an addict and live a life filled with nothing but pain and desperation, but it is insanely difficult to stop something that your entire body and every thought is consumed by every second of every day. So that being said don't just assume someone is an awful person because they do awful things, as this is almost always not the case.

Ever since my dad bluntly and honestly answered my question (as a 4-5 year old) on what happens upon drinking gasoline (you will either vomit or die), I never ever wanted even a drop of that touching my lips. Only spilling it on your hands irritates the skin and make it smell for days.
