Maybe getting a very slight buzz. Getting a 'high' from huffing organic solvents is inseparable from the physical damage they cause the brain, and the hexane in gasoline is especially neurotoxic- it literally dissolves the myelin that insulates and protects axons. I'm sure she's damaged her brain plenty but not like a lifetime of huffing would."

I could see that. One of the major things they taught me when changing a propane tank on the forklift was how to smell if there is a leak. I can smell it a little when I put on a new tank and it’s gross. 🤢

@@Jamezar well it's definitely not a NORMAL thing to offer a child, but I've spent a good portion of my life living out in the sticks around small towns. There are certain things you need to teach children when you live out in the middle of the woods that normal people would never need to learn about, like learning about the smell of gas so you could identify it as a source of danger is not out of line for the types of families I've met (people who often have to rely on propane tanks to cook or heat their homes, for example). I highly doubt he was trying to get his daughter high on gas fumes, but who knows, we weren't there.
