Four Moments I'm Not Proud of As a Mother

Like any new relationship there's a learning curve. As a new mom, I think it's more realistic to call it a learning rollercoaster. For all my other moms out there, what were some of your early motherhood trials with your baby?
I discuss losing my temper around my infant, leaving my two month old baby for work, panicking when my baby was hurt and wrestling friends and family to get the baby back.

Welp we can add to this list uploading the cut outs as apart of the motherhood errors. I’ll chop it in KZfaq editor but it could take hours or I might just have to take it down. Bear with me and thanks for your grace

Besides I didn't mind her two cents here and there even though the was a part where I couldn't really hear you lol. Reviewing didn't hurt. Baby girl is looking super healthy and chubby and I love seeing you as a mom

To all new mommas: NO! NO! NO! How long have you been a mother? You best not be beating yourself up. Us mothers learn, adapt and regroup. Ya know why this happens? We don’t have communities anymore, grannies, aunties etc who help out and are around for us moms to share intimate info etc. YOU GO MOMMA!

I loved this unedited version. Seeing the patience and love it takes for you to film these videos (that we probably don’t appreciate as much as we should because you make it look so damn easy) is amazing. You’re doing a great job mommy. The “hand the baby back” and she smiles 😩 priceless.
@MrsMine-bo2lb
@MrsMine-bo2lb 3 жыл бұрын
putting yourself first means you are putting your baby first as well. You both are connected from the moment she was conceived. DOing what is best for you, is best for her because it is our job as mothers to make sure we are doing what we need to in order to be our best version. She also learns for her own life how to take care of herself and to prioritize herself and take her dreams seriously because that is what she saw mommy do.

I love this video so much. Shan, thank you - as always - for your transparency. As someone who has fears about becoming a mother and juggling an ambitious career, watching you do what you love while extending tenderness, patience and humor to your child was beautiful to witness and affirming that if I decide to pursue motherhood, I can absolutely do it. Ryu talking every time you talked gave me a nice midday laugh. She wants her opinion heard too! 😂

I live for these types of videos!! Shan we love your honesty in this video. Although I feel like these are things that you learn as you go. Being a first time parent is all about learning. You are learning about your patience capacity along with what works and what doesn't. In addition to that, you are completely learning and molding Ryu's personality as well.. it's hard figuring out how to keep your child happy in the beginning. But you did and are doing it! Overall, both you and Jared are doing a great job. Nothing but ❤

Omg I have been obsessed with hair since I was 3 months, my mum had to put me to sleep so I could play with her hair. When I left to study abroad she cut a piece of her hair and gave it to me so I could function properly. 22 years later, I just can’t stop 😭

She felt terrible for leaving her baby at 2 months. Her feelings are valid, completely normal. She’s so lucky she has the option to rush back to work or not. Some mom after 6 weeks don’t have that choice. I’m in the service, and right before I gave birth to my daughter, our maternity leave changed from 6 weeks to 3 months at home with baby. I felt that was still so little time, but I was super grateful.
