Are you sure for 100 Gms tamarind we need to add 150 gms red chillies .. I added only 3/4 and still looks very very spicy 🥵

@Shantha Paati Samayal Thank you for the measurement of ingredients. I always went by rough measures & always ended up either too spicy or too sour. The measurements helped me. Also i tried Mrs. Sudha's 'powdering chilli' tip. Turned out great. Thanx again.

Madam, This is first time, I ever seen this soulful recipe explained in details. Much appreciated. When you get opportunity, will you please consider to post detailed recipe for Idly Podi.(I have heard some people say Gun Powder). When ever I visit Brahmin's hotel in Matunga, Mumbai (before the pandemic) I order Idly to be served with Idly Podi. I really enjoyed. When I try to make same at home (reference to KZfaq videos) I can't achieve the same taste of Brahmin's Restaurant. Thanks. Subscribed. Already hit the like button.

Oh my goodness. My mouth is watering. Although I am not of South Asian descent, I have traveled in India and I have ingredients for everything in my kitchen right now! If it were earlier in the day, I would start cooking right away. I send much admiration, appreciation and gratitude from NYC, along with well wishes. It is absolutely wonderful to have a glimpse into the domestic arts known so well by you two ladies and your families. p.s. I absolutely loved that you included the music in this video.
