What I've learned from old kung fu movies: Don't mess with the old Shaolin Abbots. They're usually the most badass and skilled fighters ever. Great choreography in this film.

Dude spent 25 minutes fighting the commander to no avail and then the top level monk only needed 25 seconds to wipe him out.

Experience always counts. But he gave a good account for himself. He was his masters fellow shaolin student after all. And a top tier general ranking higher than him in the military.

Yes...but in real life sholin temple was destroyed...they build it back so many times...can't remember who was the empire at that time...that destroyed the temple and dam near killed all the members

Remember the big fight scene in the Avenger's where the Scarlet Witch picks up the huge rolling blades and hurls them back into the alien horde? The Black Panther's Chief Bodyguard looks into the camera and says "Why was she up there (in the lab with Vision) all that time? That's the same premise as the Monk who kills the bad guy with a one-finger strike!😁 Why was he up on the steps during the fighting?😁

YES I AGREE. ABBOTS DO NOT INTERFERE NOR KILL BUT HE WAS SO EVIL THE ABBOT HAD TO STEP IN AND HIT HIM WITH THE FINGER OF DEATH. THEN ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS. VERY POWERFUL SCENE ALTHOUGH SHORT. BEST ABBOT FIGHT SCENE IT PROVES THAT THEIR SKILLS ARE UNMATCHED.
