Our School
This is a video from the Shaolin Xinyiba Research Society ; Our small traditional Shaolin Kung Fu school is located in Dengfeng, close to the Shaolin Temple. Hu Zhengsheng was a disciple of master Zhang Guangjun in the Shaolin Temple, and later of folk master of Xinyiba and Wugulun boxing Yang Guiwu, who became his main teacher.
Master Hu runs a small school and loves to have international students and teach them traditional Kung Fu. More information on our schools and classes can be found here: www.shaolinxinyiba.org/
Master Hu Zhengsheng teaching Xiao Hong Quan the way it is done in Wugulun's lineage. The most important part of this video is the Gongfa - Skill developing methods - shown at the end. These are some of Shaolin quan's most difficult skills and can take several years to master. (That is why traditionally students were required to practice only Xiao Hong Quan the first 3 years). We decided to share them to avoid the loss of those methods, since at the moment, there is almost nobody in the whole Dengfeng area (and within the Shaolin Temple) still able to do Xiao Hong Quan the way it was done 200 years ago.
