@@anthonyscarpa6107 Shaq weighed significantly more in 2001 than he did in 1996. He would have done a bit better in a Playoff matchup at this point.

titanhovey no east team of.todays nba would beat this magic team .... the east was tough in the 90s .... now.the west is.tough and east is garbage .... penny was amazing but kobe was better offensively and defensively...

@@joshuahaynes7128 wrong Kobe had long career and kept improving. Hardaway did not have such luck with health and therefore ruined his longevity and reaching the limits he had because of injuries. Also hardaway was impactful as soon as he entered league and had good accolades within his first five years before Injuries played role in his downfall. Kobe was not better offensively than hardaway.

Man if Shaq&Penny had of stayed together they would of won more rings than the Bulls cause they were young wish Shaq wouldn't of allowed his ego to get in the way he was the most dominant force in the league and Penny was virtually unstoppable like Mj with a basketball IQ like Magic 🎩

Its definitely what could have been if Shaq stayed around. However, Shaq staying around wouldn't have done anything to heal Penny's injury woes.
