I was so rolling with the Magic and hoped to see Shaq and Penny for a looong time. I appreciate Shaq’s confession and I bet Anfernee does too.

Thanks for the honesty Shaq… believe me I was a fan of yours and Penny’s. But I had to Penny doll and a Penny jersey and the Penny shoes…. But you are the best center I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen every center. So just say that I say this you are one of the goats.

Dam Shaq....you were jealous of Penny. You were jealous of Kobe and you were jealous of Wade according to you. You said Gary Payton had to tell you to fall back its Wade team now...let him shine. So basically through your whole career you were one jealous son of a ish....you could have one at least one maybe two with Anfernee....maybe two more with Kobe and i think the one that you won with the Wade was the most you two could have made together....so u may havr missed a additional 2-3 rings because of your good for nothing ego

Not sure if Shaq just makes stuff up sometimes…. I heard him tell this story before and it was about money…. And a different time it was because of his movie and rap career…. Another time it was because of the beating that MJ gave them and he went out west….

No he's mentioned this same sentiment along with everything else you just said..idk if you remember but there was an actual commercial Shaq did for his shoe release I believe and he was sitting on a couch doing an interview in the commercial and right at the end the Lil' Penny doll pops up behind the couch and Shaq pushed him back down making an oops face...

Shaq wanted to be a movie and music star and he knew LA could offer that.. but he's definitely being honest about this point because Penny was the most marketed athlete at that time if not at the same level of Shaq probably more

They might have won one maybe. Penny never stayed healthy after his first 3 seasons. It looks better when you bring the rings home to the team that drafted you but Shaq definitely wasn't winning 4 rings in Orlando.
