5 жыл бұрынRobert uses his time and talents to make custom lowrider bicycles for his local community in Pocatello, Idaho. He created a program called Big Brother Lowriding, combining his passion and his compassion in a way that helps connect those in need with transportation and mentorship. When Robert isn’t working on bikes, he's serving meals at the only soup kitchen in town at the local Salvation Army. He has become a mentor to the local community, but his life wasn’t always this way. Watch this video to hear Robert’s story.

Johanna Duque... My sincere condolences on your father's passing. Your father will live through you. Honor his life by living a life of integrity. When you feel alone. Remember that his presence will be with you. His blood runs through your veins. His love loyalty. Will motivate you to pursue new horizons, so that you can live in peace in this life until you get reunited with him. I lost my father a couple years ago. He was my best friend I'm missing greatly. He was not able to see me sober. But I was able to ask him for forgiveness, while I was holding his hand. And he was dying. I was not able to honor him before. But my life has change for the better... ! I Honor him by loving my self and making good choices. Life is full of memories, and when you stop having memories, then they will be memories of you.....!

Amen to this brother in CHRIST. I myself just got out of prison for the last time. I'm currently in a veteran's rehab center trying to get right. 2020 was one crazy year. I got covid twice, lost several jobs, and me and my wife of 10 years split up. I have nothing except some clothes. But I know I have JESUS so all is good. I'm very inspired by this video.

My mum got me my first lowrider bike at 4, it was all gold & sparkly. As a kid i thought it was ugly but now im grown i realised how cool it actually was & popular they are, plus the culture behind them. Now i want it back lol but we sold it coz i cried about it😩😭

@Arnold Polin sounds so true. grown up in a catholic country it has made me question the catholicism which lies about itself being of Christian Faith. but never the less i never stopped knowing that there is a Father in heaven that created us and gave us the gift of love and free will. the only thing missing was his word and i believe that his word is unchanged if you have opened yourself to the Truth. the parts of the Bible that are manipulated by mistranslation are easily decoded like the one that catholic satanism misdescribes where they say : "if you do not follow the gouvernment then it is a sin" but the greek word mistranslated as gouvernment acutally meant Gods Kingdom. i never read it from beginning to end but looking into what is written in the BIble has opened my eyes to many things i would have not known. everything that is written in the Bible willl make your life fuller if you follow it.

We all go trials and tribulations in our lives but once you get that first instance when you help someone else better their lives, you are instantly hooked and it does nothing but bring joy to your heart. What a beautiful story. I've wanted a lowrider for years now and finally at the age of 33 I just bought my first lowrider bicycle. In Australia it's so hard to get parts though. I wish there was more culture around it here down under. Riding makes you feel free and takes stress away for me. Keep up the great work.

So amazing. Such an inspiration for our community. He mentors troubles teens also and tries to get them to see the good in life instead of doing the wrong things. I spoke with him for a few minutes after my 14 year old had court and his story blew me away and inspired me to get some mentoring for my child

Thats awesome. When my oldest was 5 years old I would give her a ride on my lowrider bike across town to drop her off at her moms house. Oh how I wished I had taken pictures. Keep up the good work homeboy. God Bless you

Robert, one bike at a time. I've worked with people that have made mistakes, I've made mistakes. You count your blessings and figure out your skills and tools you have on hand and you put them to work to better others and better yourself. If you can't help figure out who can. Once you have what you need, and not what you want, the rest falls into place. People will respect you, trust you, help you, and seek you out. Good man👍
